Milan Restaurant Review|Italian Dining 👉 Gloria Osteria 🍝✨
The atmosphere of this restaurant is absolutely stunning, and overall, the food was pretty good. The only downside was that the server gave us a table with poor lighting, which wasn’t ideal. 💡🙅♀️ For starters, we ordered: Il carpaccione – Thinly sliced raw beef salad. The meat was tender and fresh. Super healthy and delicious! Loved it! 🥩🥗 Crocchette di vitello tonnato – Crispy veal croquettes with a layer of tuna sauce on top. The combination of flavors was incredible! A must-order! 🤤 Pan brioche e salumi – Soft brioche bread paired with Italian ham. The bread was fragrant, with a crispy crust and a soft interior. But honestly, I didn’t find it particularly special—just average. 🍞🥓 We ordered three main dishes: Cappellacci ricotta e spinaci – Ricotta and spinach-filled Italian dumplings. Delicious! Highly recommended! Not greasy at all! 🥟👍 Scarpinocc al tartufo e funghi – Black truffle mushroom dumplings, with a filling of potatoes, mushrooms, and truffle. The truffle and mushroom flavor was quite intense, which some people might not like, but I personally loved it. Another favorite! 🍄🍴 Pappardelle al ragù – Wide pasta with meat sauce. It looked hearty, but honestly… the flavor was lacking. Nope, not recommended! 👎🍝 For the meats, we ordered: Saltimbocca alla romana – Veal, ham, and sage, served with mashed potatoes. The mashed potatoes here blew me away—so creamy with a rich buttery flavor. Absolutely delicious! The meat was also fantastic! 🥩🥔😍 Il Rossini casimir – Tender filet mignon, we ordered it medium. It came with a thick layer of mashed potatoes underneath, drizzled with truffle sauce and a house-made sauce (not sure exactly what it was). If you’re only ordering one meat dish, go for this one! It’s really unique and super tasty! 🥩👌 For dessert, we had three: Caffè gourmand – A sampler of three different desserts, perfect for those who can’t decide! It’s a great deal because you get to try three different flavors for the price of one. 🍰🍮🍫 Tiramisu – This one was a bit redundant since the caffè gourmand already included a sample of tiramisu. 🤷♀️ Soufflé al cioccolato – Chocolate soufflé served with vanilla ice cream. It was on the sweeter side, and they poured the warm chocolate sauce right in front of us—loaded with calories but totally worth it! 🍫🍦😋 💶 Per person: 45€ (We didn’t order any wine. Pro tip: the more people, the better the value!) 💰🙌 #Italy #Milan #MilanRestaurantReview #MilanRestaurantRecommendations #MilanFood #MilanGuide #ItalianFood
