It's one of the city's most important landmarks. 🏯 Introduction to Castello Sforzesco, Milan Built in the 15th century, Sforza Castle was the residence of the Sforza family, and it was originally a defensive fortress from the 14th century. In the 16th and 17th centuries, it was one of the largest castles in Europe. Upon entering the main gate, you'll find a spacious courtyard surrounded by castle walls. Strolling around, you can experience the grandeur of the Italian aristocracy and feel the deep history of Milan. Inside the castle, there’s a library and a sculpture gallery, displaying sculptures, furniture, paintings, and more.
