Must-Visit Hidden Gem Zoo 💗
☀️ On a sunny Saturday afternoon, I felt like getting some fresh air by a lakeside. 🏖️ A friend had mentioned Stresa, so I quickly booked a ticket and set off! From Milan’s Central Station, it’s only a one-hour train ride away, with gorgeous scenery along the way. Once you arrive, it’s just a 400-meter walk from the station to the lakeside. 🍕 Lunchtime means pizza! My pizza arrived, but just as I was lifting a slice to my mouth, the wind blew the ham right off my plate! ⛲️ I’d done a little research on the train and found Parco Villa Pallavicino. Visiting this place felt like uncovering a hidden treasure. The park was originally a noble family’s private estate, built in 1858, and later opened to the public. 💗 Highly recommend checking out the open farm area here where you can get close to the animals! While petting a sheep, an alpaca might just walk past with its head held high. That actually happened to me, but my friend was too shocked to capture the moment! 😮💨 🦙 Leaving the farm, I saw deer munching on leaves, and a proud peacock strolling along the path. When four peahens approached, I was lucky enough to witness the peacock’s colorful feathers fan out right up close. 🦚 🌄 As it got dark, we headed back. It was early August, and I gathered pine cones along the way — all set for my holiday decor collection! Happy to return to Milan with a bagful of memories. 💗💗💗 🚉 Milan to Stresa: 1-hour train ride, €8.6💶 🍕 Highly recommend a lakeside meal ⛲️🦙 20-minute walk from Stresa station 🚶♀️ ⬆️ Park entry: €13💶 per person 📷 Lots of photo-worthy spots, phone storage beware! ❤️ Allow 1-2 days if possible to explore Isola Bella and Palazzo Borromeo at a relaxed pace. #Stresa #Italy #MilanDayTrips #ItalianLakes #OpenFarmPark #Alpaca #NorthernItaly #MilanNearbyAttractions #HiddenZooGem #KidsParadise #ConnectWithNature #WeekendGetaway #MemorySnaps #LifeChronicles #RomanticLifeMoments
