Park Recommendation (Parco Sempione) 🌳🏰

❤️Parco Sempione is a large urban green space in Milan, Italy, located behind the historic Sforza Castle. The name dates back to the Sempirone Tunnel of 1906. The Corso Sempione avenue extends from behind the park. ❤️Built on the former avenue behind the Sforza Castle, Parco Sempione began as a proposal in 1888 to demolish the dense buildings in the area to create a public space for walking, horse racing, and revolutionary celebrations. Between the Sforza Castle and the Peace Gate, a picturesque English garden was laid out, featuring hills and valleys, irregular flower beds and paths, ponds and water channels, and planted with trees and shrubs. ❤️Since its completion, the park has highlighted its role as a leisure center for Milanese and its close relationship with art, hosting many exhibitions, such as the 1906 International Exposition. Notable buildings within the park include the Palazzo dell'Arte. The park is covered by a wireless network provided by the Municipality of Milan, allowing access to the internet. #EuropeanLife #MilanLife #Milan #ItalyMilan #Outdoors #HolidayCityWalk #ParcoSempione #MilanParcoSempione #World #Europe
