Quill — Chicago Pop-Up Dinner Series with a Friendly Cat 🍽️🐱

Probably the most delightful pop-up dinner I’ve attended — because there was a kitty! Quill is run by Jonathan (who works in marketing) and his girlfriend Ashley. They host monthly dinners for just six guests in their home. The name “Quill” reflects Jonathan’s love of writing. 🐱 Meet Winnie, their super-friendly cat. While chatting downstairs, I spotted a little furry face peeking around the staircase — absolutely adorable! 🌸 Lego floral arrangements by Jonathan decorate the table. The whole space reflects their personalities — one of the charms of home pop-ups. 👨‍🍳 Chef Jonathan in action! 🎃 Creamy squash soup with a drizzle of celery oil — sweet, smooth, and comforting. 🐟 Salmon with beet and squash purées — cooked just right (though the outside was a touch dry). Loved having two sauces to play with — both sweet and autumnal. Though only four courses, portions were generous and well-priced. 📍 Located in a Gold Coast/Goose Island apartment — book via Tock, and the exact address and chef contact will follow. 🍂 November’s dinner will be Thanksgiving-themed! #ChicagoEats #PopUpDinner #QuillChicago #HomeDining #CatFriendly #CozyMeal
