Return to Chicago ~ A Treasure Trove Antique Store

This was actually from my trip to Chicago last September for a design expo. The second half of the year got super busy, and even though I wanted to shoot more inspo for American home decor, I ended up juggling work + two kids 😅—so real‑time updates fell behind. This home goods store is right in downtown Chicago. Though it’s an antique shop, only a small section is truly vintage.😘😍 Many pieces I loved were too bulky to bring back, so I just picked out a few mini photo frames (now in my study) and two antique cups. I was so worried they’d break that I carried them in hand the whole way back—didn’t even dare unwrap the original packaging from the store! I always love hunting little shops when traveling, bringing back quirky, fun things that others might find odd… but that’s the joy of exploring, right?
