📘 Quel Che – Highly Recommended! 📍 Location: Near Santa Maria Maggiore, about a 6-7 minute walk. With only a few tables, it’s always packed—because it’s just that good! 🥩 Their Carbonara tartufata (truffle bacon pasta) is absolutely incredible—generously loaded with toppings and perfectly al dente. Surprisingly affordable, this was the cheapest yet most delicious meal of our trip! 🥯 Lari the Vino – Reservation Needed, Recommended. 📍 Location: Near the Colosseum, about a 7-8 minute walk. 🍺The wine was quite good, and the lamb chops were decent. However, the lobster pasta paled in comparison to Quel Che’s dishes. 🍹 Risotteria Melotto Roma – Recommended: Location: Very close to Bernini’s Fountain of the Four Rivers. This restaurant is run by a family with a long history in rice cultivation, so the rice quality is exceptional. 🥐 Pompt Tiramisu – Highly Recommended . Location: Near the Vatican. Their tiramisu is incredibly creamy and delicious—but skip the other items. The coffee was bland and not worth trying. #ItalianCuisine #RomeFood #TruffleBaconPasta
