Schaumburg’s Own Soufflé Pancakes — Fluffy Fluffy 🥞
Living in the suburbs now, I rarely make it downtown for my beloved soufflé pancakes from Hanabusa. So when I heard a new spot called Fluffy Fluffy opened in Schaumburg, I had to check it out. 🍵 Matcha Tiramisu Soufflé Pancakes – Topped with matcha powder and strawberries. 🍓 Signature Soufflé Pancakes – Fluffy, eggy clouds piled with whipped cream and fresh fruit. 🥓 Bacon Egg Croissant Sandwich – Comes with a side salad. The addition of mayo felt unnecessary, but it was still edible. The pancakes themselves were light, airy, and tasty — no complaints there. But the experience had some major hiccups: ⏳ Long Wait – Signs said 15–20 minutes for fresh-made orders. We waited nearly 50 minutes for everything to arrive. 🛠️ No Real Service – It’s all self-order, self-pickup, and self-bussing. That’s fine, but free water was kept behind the counter — you had to ask staff to pour it, slowing everything down even more. 🍰 Small Portions – Hanabusa serves three pancakes; here you only get two. Whipped cream was also skimpy — no wonder they offer “extra cream” as an add-on. Overall: The pancakes are good, but the service flow needs work and the value isn’t great. Maybe only worth it if you’re really craving soufflé pancakes and don’t want to drive downtown. 📍 Fluffy Fluffy Cafe 601 N Martingale Rd Suite 170C, Schaumburg, IL 60173 #FluffyFluffy #SoufflePancakes #SchaumburgEats #SuburbanCafe #ChicagoSuburbs
