Sharing a Delicious Korean Restaurant in the North Suburbs of Chicago
There are so many Korean restaurants in the north suburbs of Chicago, which is great for Korean food lovers. This restaurant was introduced to my teammate by his friend, who is a staff member at the Korean Embassy in the United States. We had high expectations for the food even before we arrived. 1๏ธโฃ Smoked Pork Knuckle ๐๐๐๐๐ A dish found in many Korean restaurants, we ordered it with an open mind, and it turned out to be amazingโbetter than any other version we've tried. The meat is tender and full of flavor. Wrapping the meat with lettuce leaves, garlic slices, and chili slices, and adding a piece of kimchi, is incredibly satisfying. 2๏ธโฃ Army Stew ๐๐๐ I've always thought army stew was just okay. It didn't stand out much to me. But if you like the gooey texture, this is definitely worth a try! 3๏ธโฃ Spicy Seafood Squid Noodles ๐๐๐ Different from other places we've tried, this restaurant serves noodles instead of glass noodles. Both work well when mixed together. The dish is cool and spicy, very refreshing, though there could be more squid meat. 4๏ธโฃ Steamed Pork Belly ๐๐๐๐ The pork belly is cooked to perfection, very tender. It pairs wonderfully with the side dishes (see 5๏ธโฃ). Just be mindful of the higher fat content if you're watching your weight! 6๏ธโฃ Fried Chicken Wings ๐๐๐๐๐ These are incredibly deliciousโcrispy on the outside and juicy on the inside. Even kids can enjoy several pieces easily. #KoreanFood #StudentEating #StudentEats
