Spring Break in Chicago: 3-Day Adventure — Where Did We Go?
This spring break, I brought my friends to explore Chicago (and fell in love with the city all over again ❤️). Sharing a smooth and fun itinerary with no backtracking—perfect for first-time visitors! DAY 1️⃣ We started early in downtown The Loop 🏙️, admiring Chicago’s cyberpunk-like urban layout. Walked to Millennium Park to snap photos with The Bean 🤳, then enjoyed a gorgeous brunch at Cindy’s Rooftop 🥂. Caught the 1 PM Wendella Architecture Boat Tour 🚢 along the Chicago River—absolutely must-do! Spent the afternoon exploring the LaSalle Street financial district and visited the iconic Willis Tower 🏗️. Ended the day with dinner in Chinatown 🥢. DAY 2️⃣ Spent the morning along the famous Magnificent Mile 🛍️—started at Nordstrom, walked north past the stunning Starbucks Reserve and Ralph’s Coffee ☕. By noon, we reached Navy Pier 🎡. The lake views were gorgeous, but the early spring wind was way too chilly 🌬️❄️, so we headed inside for Flyover Chicago—an immersive flight simulation over the city. Absolutely thrilling! By sunset, we went up to 360 CHICAGO Observation Deck 🌇 for breathtaking views of the city day and night. So photogenic! 📸 DAY 3️⃣ Museum day—another 10,000+ steps walked! 🏛️👣 Morning: Art Institute of Chicago 🖼️. You could easily spend a whole day here—especially in the European Impressionism section. A color lover’s dream! Afternoon: Museum Campus—choose between the Field Museum (hello, T-Rex Sue! 🦖) or the Shedd Aquarium 🐠. 💡 If you have an extra 1-2 days: Explore Chicago’s unique neighborhoods like Wicker Park or Lincoln Park 🍃. Also consider visiting the beautiful campuses of UChicago and Northwestern University 🎓—it’s worth the ride! #SpringIntoAdventure #Chicago #SpringBreak #Travel #USATravel #ExploreChicago
