The 10th Annual Chi Food Truck Festival is Back at Daley Plaza This Weekend

Visitors to the Loop will have tons of new local food options to explore this summer, starting this weekend! The 10th annual Chi Food Truck Fest kicks off this Friday, May 16, at Daley Plaza, bringing dozens of food vendors to the heart of downtown. Organized by the Chicago Department Business Affairs and Consumer Protection (BACP), this year’s lineup features a range of cuisine from [Chicago pizza](https://secretchicago.com/bill-murrays-favorite-chicago-pizza/) to southern soul food. “The Chi Food Truck Fest brings together food, culture, and connection,” said Mayor Brandon Johnson. “I am proud to celebrate the fest’s 10th season as a delicious showcase of Chicago’s entrepreneurial spirit and culinary innovation.” The festival will run every Friday through October 4, from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Festival dates are as follows: * May: 16, 23, 31 * June: 6, 13, 20, 27 * July: 11, 18, 25 * August: 1, 8, 15, 22, 29 * September: 5, 12, 19, 26 * October: 3 The BACP will release a full list of participating vendors on its social media channels in the coming days.
