The Playful World of Artist Mendini 🎨✨
The Milan Triennale was established in 1923 and serves as a museum of art and design, primarily showcasing decorative applied arts and architectural design. It regularly hosts art exhibitions, allowing visitors to appreciate many iconic Italian design works—a fantastic place to experience top-notch design and find creative inspiration! 🏛️💡 ➡️ Alessandro Mendini Exhibition (April 13 - October 13) This was my favorite exhibition during this visit! Stepping into the whimsical world of artist Alessandro Mendini, you'll be surrounded by vibrant colors, bold color clashes, and novel ideas. The exhibition hall is filled with various colorful and imaginative designs, along with many of the designer's sketches from his lifetime. This exhibition is perfect for visiting with children; the colors and creativity are so much fun! 🌈👶 The exhibition runs until October 13, 2024, with tickets priced at 15 euros, and a free annual museum pass! 🎟️ ➡️ Bookstore The museum's bookstore offers a wide selection of books and magazines on architecture, visual arts, and fashion photography, as well as delightful children's books. You can also find limited edition artworks and exclusive souvenirs from the museum! 📚🖌️ Perhaps still immersed in the world of colors after seeing Mendini's exhibition, I instantly fell in love with this majolica tile in the bookstore. It has a great texture and was designed by artist Alessandro Mendini in 2018. Each tile is handcrafted by artisans, featuring vibrant, dense polka dots that are very much his personal style! 🟠🔵 #Italy #ItalianMuseum #Milan #MilanWithKids
