🚗 SATURDAY 10 AM: Hit the road from Atlanta 🛣️ Lunch stop: LongHorn Steakhouse 🥩 First time trying it! Compared to Texas Roadhouse—more polished, “dapper-casual” vibe. Ordered a medium-rare T-Bone with grilled corn 🌽 and broccoli. Drank “The Perfect.” (Psst… still prefer Texas Roadhouse’s rolls 😬) 3 PM: Checked into La Quinta Inn & Suites by Wyndham Charleston 🏨 Convenient location, but nothing fancy. Afternoon: Headed straight to Folly Beach 🌅 Gorgeous weather, packed with people! Parking was a mission… but my friend’s a street-parking pro 💪 (Thanks, NYC training!) 🍽️ Dinner at Oyster House Seafood & O-Bar Oyster platter 🦪 – fresh and flavorful! Shrimp and Grits – okay Whole Red Snapper – absolutely delicious! Crab Cake Sandwich – meh, felt like fast food The Sunrise cocktail – refreshing! 👌 📍 35 S Market St, Charleston, SC 29401 Evening: Strolled through Charleston City Market 🛍️ Loved the handmade crafts and street performers. Chill vibes! Grabbed a sweet-and-sour treat from The Pineapple Hut 🍍 🍳 SUNDAY Morning: Leisurely walk through Charleston’s charming streets 🏛️ Lunch at Hust Field Green Caesar – your typical “white people salad” 🥗 GA Pork Chop – a bit greasy but alright No Big Dill – just okay 📍 76 Queen St, Charleston, SC 29401 Cute for photos, but brunch here? Once is enough 😅 A friend described Charleston as giving “old-money Southern aristocracy” vibes… until roaring motorcycles and lively streets reminded us: Yep, still in the U.S.! 🇺🇸 🌿 Afternoon: Middleton Place 💚 Used student ID for $15 entry! 📍 4300 Ashley River Rd, Charleston, SC 29414 The oak alley + golden-hour sunlight = straight out of Gone with the Wind 🍃 Highly recommend!
