What to Eat in Chicago Besides Deep-Dish Pizza 🍕❓

Spent four days eating my way through Chicago—from global McDonald’s menus to Japanese omakase and steakhouses. This city is a food paradise! 🌆😋 🍕 Pizzeria Uno – Tried deep-dish for the first time! The crust was crispy on the edges but a bit soggy from all the cheese. Personally, I prefer the drier, chewier crust of classic Italian pizza. 🍜 Ramen SAN – Ramen was on the lighter side, but other dishes leaned greasy. Also tried the Kimchi Sake—a unique mix of kimchi juice, sake, and beer! 🍺✨ 🍣 Q Sushi Bar – $100 omakase with a modern, American vibe. Great value! The chef gifted us sake 🍶. Only wish the rice had been a bit softer. 🥩 Asado Bastian – Basque-style steakhouse, ranked No. 13 globally for steak! Loved the appetizers, steak, and desserts—even better than Seattle’s spots. Highly recommend! 🔥 🍗 Izakaya Shinya – Cozy yakitori spot. The chicken skewers were springy and well-seasoned, and I loved the grilled king oyster mushrooms and shishito peppers! 😋 🥗 The Gage – Brunch near Millennium Park and the Art Institute. Perfect for a laid-back meal with a view! ☕️ World’s Largest Starbucks – Four floors of coffee wonder—but yeah, it’s still Starbucks 😉. 🍔 McDonald’s Global Menu – The McDonald’s next to Hamburger University offers rotating global specials. Tried a curry-spiced veggie burger from India—so interesting! 🌍🍟 #ChicagoEats #BeyondDeepDish #FoodieTour #ChicagoFood #TravelEats #SteakLovers
