We had a bad experience here. Starting from the refusal to serve us coffee or tea (by saying to us that in Albania, people don’t have coffee at restaurants!), then the pushy sales of beer, then the ‘fish fillet’ that the owner claimed to be ‘without bone’ but came out as small fried fish. Finally when the bill came the beer was charged at 250 instead of 150 as stated on the menu. When asked about this the owner simply said this is my price… you can’t criticize my price…Considering what we had the price was high for Durres and Albania in general. We ended up just paying as the difference was not going to break the bank but it totally ruin our first lunch in Albania…
Since then we have had meals in Saranda, in Ksamil and at another restaurant in Durres. All were good experiences so definitely better value and service elsewhere....

Very nice hospitality and dinner...

The fish starter was incredible and the grilled sea bass was very well cooked, still just but also had the flavour from the flames. My wife had the seafood spaghetti and it came with lots of different types of shellfish, octopus etc. The sauce with the spaghetti was the highlight for me.
Great wine and beer too, the service was fantastic, taking the time to understand what we liked and making us feel very welcome. Great value and the owner also gave us a coffee on the house which was very generous.
Please don't let this place pass you by, it is well worth the walk away from the compact tourist streets to get a real flavour of what...
