So me and my Wife are currently in Sarande, Albania 🇦🇱 on our Honeymoon from our home in Manchester, England 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿. We were down by the harbour/Promenade in Sarande and we were looking for a nice restaurant by the water, We were spoilt for choice but stumbled across Restaurant Limani in Sarande and thought let's go here. We walked in and we were warmly greeted by our waiter who showed us to our table, I ordered a Bottle of Beer 🍺 and my Wife ordered a Glass of local White Wine, Drinks came and were nicely served, Ice cold and crisp. After a few more minutes the waiter came back and took our order, My Wife ordered King Prawn Sagnaki and I ordered a Pizza 🍕 and fries, The waiter also brought us some Tzasiki and some local bread. The Food came and it looked delicious, Very well presented, My Wife really enjoyed her King Prawn Sagnaki, The Tzasiki was so fresh, The bread was soft, fluffy and really nice taste, The chips were hot and Tasted amazing, My Pizza was cooked to perfection, Crispy, All the toppings went together so well, I cleaned my mate. We then ordered another round of drinks and then we ordered 4x Baileys(Coffee Liquor) over ice, Again drinks were Served chilled and went down really well in the Sarande heat. Lovely setting for the restaurant, Polite and friendly staff, Food and drink was absolutely amazing, The waiters were very attentive and nothing was too much trouble, The restaurant is clean, Excellent Customer service, Beautiful setting and the End to another beautiful day in Sarande. We always post our honest opinions and feedback on our experiences ranging from Food, Drink, Service, Setting etc and we have over 27,000,000+ Views on Google. 5☆ 5☆ 5☆ 5☆ 5☆ 5☆

I visited Limani Restaurant about four times during the off-season. The meals I had included Margherita pizza, spaghetti with sauce (vegetarian), pumpkin risotto, French fries, potato rosemary soup, tiramisu, tres leche cake, mint and mountain teas. The pumpkin risotto was a standout dish. Not only was it delicious but it was beautifully and aesthetically presented. The spaghetti with vegetarian sauce was also a secondary standout but for different reasons. The way in which I asked for it to be prepared was off-menu; yet, the waiter and chef accommodated my request graciously. Their take on tiramisu is one I appreciate and the tres leche cake is a lovely ending to a good meal or can be enjoyed simply with a tea. My reason for giving four stars overall instead of five is due to my most recent visit. As I was trying to enjoy my meal, there were a number of children playing on/hitting the bench on which I was sitting. These children, though their guardians were two tables away, also kept coming next to me staring and using the restaurant as a playground which quite frankly made it difficult to enjoy the peacefulness of the restaurant. I am aware that this restaurant is a place for the community and this is commendable. Nevertheless, this community includes a diversity of individuals; children, their guardians and other adults need to understand this. To the restaurants credit, the owner came over immediately once I asked to be moved to a different table. They spoke with the family and the group of children were more considerate afterwards. I hope to have a better experience during my next visit.

The culinary experience at the establishment was satisfactory, albeit lacking in authenticity and tradition. The menu primarily consisted of fundamental dishes such as pizza, which exhibited a satisfactory taste profile. The pizza dough was prepared using semolina flour, resulting in a crunchy texture. However, the excessive oiliness detracted from its overall appeal. The risotto with seafood was underwhelming. The risotto's consistency was compromised by an excessive amount of water, rendering its appearance unappetizing. Furthermore, the presence of a minuscule piece of crab was insufficient to elevate the dish. The chicken breast was accompanied by a diminutive salad. The portion size was inadequate, particularly for an adult male, and would have been more appropriately served as an appetizer. The service provided by the establishment was lacking in several aspects. Notably, the waiter neglected to remove the plates from the table after the completion of the soup course, resulting in the subsequent course being served while the soiled plates and empty bottles remained on the table. In summary, I would assign a rating of three stars to this establishment. The pricing structure appears disproportionate to the quality of the dining experience, with the primary value proposition being the proximity to the sea. Upon the conclusion of our meal, the table remained uncleared, with the plates left unattended. For your reference, the pricing details are as follows: Chicken: 12 euros Risotto: 14 euros 0.5 liters of wine: 8 euros 0.5 liters of water: 1 euro

Hey Limani. After we have been in Saranda for 13 days and eaten dinner and lunch 5 times at your place because the location, food and service been great...

Today we just wanted a light meal so we ordered 2 pizzas. The Limani and 4 seasons. We had them before and they been very good. That's why we decided to go for them again. Today you served a warm crust on the outer 5 cm and liquid dough and uncooked meat, vegetables and seafood in most middle areas. The cheese looked like it was warmed in a microwave own..

We returned the seafood pizza because it wasn't okey at all. Round 1 your vaitor tells us this is how it usually is because of tomatoes, seafood blabla. I kindly reply we eaten here before and no this is not how it usually is..

We get another Limani pizza and it's even worse in the middle. I've dissected the 4 seasons and show him the tomato, paprika, mushroom, ham, dough and cheese that's all wet, saggy and basically calling it undercooked is too kind. Yet again he explains this is how it usually is. Weirdly enough it never have been like that in 5 previous visits last 2 weeks..

Based on the latter you would get a 1 star and a avoid warning. Kitchen mistakes can happen, but then you need to deal with it properly. That doesn't include bringing out the same disaster of a pizza. Nor do you argue with customers. Especially when they've eaten the same thing before and tell you this is not how it usually is.

Still giving 3 stars based on previous experience, but I doubt we will ever eat at your place again. Mostly because I now consider the possibility that your waitor is correct and if so nobody should eat at your place.....

Without this last experience you probably would get a 5* and I would've spent time explaining about those great lunch and dinners with more to come. If the real Limani is how we previously experienced you need to tell your vaitor to deal with complaints properly. Most chefs will have an idea what went wrong with your...
