Hey Limani. After we have been in Saranda for 13 days and eaten dinner and lunch 5 times at your place because the location, food and service been great...
Today we just wanted a light meal so we ordered 2 pizzas. The Limani and 4 seasons. We had them before and they been very good. That's why we decided to go for them again. Today you served a warm crust on the outer 5 cm and liquid dough and uncooked meat, vegetables and seafood in most middle areas. The cheese looked like it was warmed in a microwave own..
We returned the seafood pizza because it wasn't okey at all. Round 1 your vaitor tells us this is how it usually is because of tomatoes, seafood blabla. I kindly reply we eaten here before and no this is not how it usually is..
We get another Limani pizza and it's even worse in the middle. I've dissected the 4 seasons and show him the tomato, paprika, mushroom, ham, dough and cheese that's all wet, saggy and basically calling it undercooked is too kind. Yet again he explains this is how it usually is. Weirdly enough it never have been like that in 5 previous visits last 2 weeks..
Based on the latter you would get a 1 star and a avoid warning. Kitchen mistakes can happen, but then you need to deal with it properly. That doesn't include bringing out the same disaster of a pizza. Nor do you argue with customers. Especially when they've eaten the same thing before and tell you this is not how it usually is.
Still giving 3 stars based on previous experience, but I doubt we will ever eat at your place again. Mostly because I now consider the possibility that your waitor is correct and if so nobody should eat at your place.....
Without this last experience you probably would get a 5* and I would've spent time explaining about those great lunch and dinners with more to come. If the real Limani is how we previously experienced you need to tell your vaitor to deal with complaints properly. Most chefs will have an idea what went wrong with your...

Read moreI visited Limani Restaurant about four times during the off-season. The meals I had included Margherita pizza, spaghetti with sauce (vegetarian), pumpkin risotto, French fries, potato rosemary soup, tiramisu, tres leche cake, mint and mountain teas. The pumpkin risotto was a standout dish. Not only was it delicious but it was beautifully and aesthetically presented. The spaghetti with vegetarian sauce was also a secondary standout but for different reasons. The way in which I asked for it to be prepared was off-menu; yet, the waiter and chef accommodated my request graciously. Their take on tiramisu is one I appreciate and the tres leche cake is a lovely ending to a good meal or can be enjoyed simply with a tea. My reason for giving four stars overall instead of five is due to my most recent visit. As I was trying to enjoy my meal, there were a number of children playing on/hitting the bench on which I was sitting. These children, though their guardians were two tables away, also kept coming next to me staring and using the restaurant as a playground which quite frankly made it difficult to enjoy the peacefulness of the restaurant. I am aware that this restaurant is a place for the community and this is commendable. Nevertheless, this community includes a diversity of individuals; children, their guardians and other adults need to understand this. To the restaurants credit, the owner came over immediately once I asked to be moved to a different table. They spoke with the family and the group of children were more considerate afterwards. I hope to have a better experience during...
