Balcony Restaurant — Restaurant in Bashkia Sarandë

Terrible experience at Balcony Restaurant. The food was disgusting, the staff were rude, and we had to wait forever to get our meals. Absolutely unacceptable. I also found the owner’s behavior very disturbing. Would not recommend at all.

For those claiming I was never there: it’s honestly funny. So, because I wrote a positive review for a place I actually enjoyed during my days in Saranda, that suddenly makes me fake? 😂 Do you seriously keep a register of every single customer who walks through your door, just so you can deny people’s experiences later? That’s ridiculous. I know exactly where I’ve been, what I ate, and how I was treated and it was good, which is why I shared it. The real irony here is that the only fake reviews seem to be the overly positive ones you’ve clearly written for yourself. Instead of wasting time accusing real customers, maybe focus on improving the service and letting genuine feedback speak for itself.

Those glowing reviews? Don’t be fooled they’re basically love letters the owner wrote to his own place. Apparently, the chef isn’t the only one cooking here ,the owner’s been cooking up fake reviews too. If only the food had as much flavor as his...

This was my second visit to Balcony Restaurant, and it fully confirmed what I felt the first time — this place is a gem.

The setting is unbeatable, perched above the promenade with stunning views of the sea and palm trees. As evening sets in, the glass terrace creates a peaceful, intimate atmosphere that’s perfect for unwinding with good food and wine.

I started with their Greek salad — fresh, crisp vegetables topped with a thick wedge of feta, lightly seasoned and drizzled with olive oil. Paired with a glass of chilled white wine and some warm bread, it was the perfect opener.

For the main course, I had the grilled pork with roasted potatoes. The meat was tender and well-seasoned, and the potatoes were perfectly golden and flavorful — simple, honest food done right.

Service was warm and well-paced, and the prices are more than fair given the quality and location.

If you’re looking for a quiet, elevated dining experience in Saranda with amazing views and solid food, Balcony is an easy choice. I’ll be back...

I was in this establishment and I would like to share my horrible experience, including service and local attention. I found a hair in the food while I was eating, the fried fish was delicious, but I couldn't finish the meal because I found the hair. I went to the waiter and showed him my hair and asked for the bill because I would like to pay and look for somewhere else to eat, he looked at me and simply said "what?" when i simply wanted to be polite to let them know what happened, The other waiter addressed me extremely rudely too and his justification was "you've already eaten half of the food, I can't reimburse you" (but I didn't want to refund or talk, I don't know how to talk to rude people).the waiters are extremely rude and thick as a brick, they did not apologies for the happened or any thank you to my self.
