I ordered the grilled octopus and the garlic squid and both of these dishes were amazing! The grilled octopus so incredibly tender it had the texture of a perfectly cooked filet mignon and the flavors were incredible. The squid was very similar to a scampi and was cooked very well, very tender. I will definitely be coming back to try more

Edit: I came back to try some more dishes and was not disappointed! The fish soup was delicious and had a good portion of fish in it. It was mild and comforting. Then I had the Bass Crudo...it was unexpected. I ordered the bass and told the server, "everything was so good last time, just let the chef know that I said you choose how to prepare it for me!" So out came this exotic presentation of an Albanian take on ceviche and, oh my sweet Lord, it was incredible! Perfectly sauced and seasoned, sitting on a bed of fresh avocado. One of the best bass...

My favorite place I ate at in Tirana. It’s very unusual, almost unheard of, for us to eat someplace twice on a trip, but we did so at Fresh Catch. It was that good.

The marinated anchovies (they’re called something else on the menu) are delicious. They marinate them themselves in house and it shows. The oil is great to dip bread into after you’ve eaten all the fish. Also had the grilled scald and grilled shrimp, both were excellent. The Greek salad was solid. Prices are extremely reasonable for the high quality of the food. Around 2000 lek will get you a main, a salad, an order of anchovies and drinks. This is more than enough for two people to share.

The waiter spoke excellent English and provided good service. Card is accepted.

If you’re in Tirana and want...

Fish can't get really any fresher than this. The staff is super kind and attentive, they want to be sure you're not only enjoying your meal but your experience. English isn't their strongest language, yet they will make sure you are enjoying yourself and are very personable. The waiter and I spoke back and forth using the translator because I wanted to ask if my sea bass could come out as just a filet, not an entire fish lol he was so sweet about it and it came out perfectly. He also brought a complementary dessert and WOW. It was amazing I ate it so fast. Beautiful space as well, only empty because I tend to eat much earlier than most lol
