Casbah Istanbul — Restaurant in Bab Ezzouar

I only tried the katmer here so this review might change in the future. The place is smaller than I expected it to be, it's just average in size but it's not hard to find a table to eat. Service was okay, servers were side eyeing us because we entered with a takeout box and maybe because we only ordered dessert but they were polite. The katmer was really good, tea is complementary. Turkish tea is not good in my opinion but it went well with the creamy and sweet dessert. I might have to try other things since this was a satisfying first trial. Casbah Istanbul stands as always one of the best restaurants in algiers, i remember 5 or 6 years ago coming to the place as a student to share with my friends a kunafa, yes one kunafa by 4 🤣🤣🤣. I liked how my friend and I were welcomed at the entrance with smile from the guy with a nice suit. The kunafa was tasty, the tea is nice Turkish tea but I got a plastic spoon in contrary the other tea was with a normal one. I think with such an investment in the restaurant and nice cups and saucers we should get at least a normal spoon for the price we pay.
