Cotton candy cafe resto — Restaurant in Chéraga

I really looked forward to take my mother out and visit this place. As someone who visit family in Algeria, this was an interesting discovery.

Although much to my disappointment didn’t live up to the reviews.

First off I just want to say that the severs were very polite and respectful.

But when we discussed about ordering the bbq the sever informed that some of the meat selection was not available at the moment.

My mother and I then decided to order the other dishes instead. The Lanzou noodles and spicy bibimbab, with meat kimbab and ravioli

Then after 15 minutes the sever returns once again to yet again announced that they’re run out of ravioli.

We didn’t pay much attention to it but again was left wondering as to why we weren’t just told that the moment we ordered the ravioli

A good 25 minutes pass before our food arrives. Despite the fact we were literally the only guests at the moment. We went on a Sunday early afternoon so we did expect that, since Sunday is a working-school day.

Our food arrived and although the presentation left much to the imagination we were quickly disappointed with the food delivered.

My noddles were soggy, had absolutely no taste. The meat didn’t taste good and the broth was too oily

My moms food was not that great either, her dish was quite plain and didn’t even taste spicy nor as a bibimbab should

Then comes the Kimbab. The representation wasn’t that impressive and I’ve never seen a plate of Kimbab being placed on the same plate as ketchup. I don’t know why that was necessary nor did it give the already dry Kimbab anymore flavors.

I couldn’t finish my food neither could my mom and unfortunately as I expected I got a stomach ache which has left for a very distressing night.

It’s quite unfortunate as I’ve read so many good things about the restaurant. And the only thing I can’t deny is the fact of how friendly...

COTTON CANDY CAFE RESTO📍 Cotton candy cafe resto is a new and (first) Korean BBQ in Algeria. They have a range and selections of meats including steak and lamb chops. They also have a MASSIVE selection of drinks like milkshakes,frappes and bubble tea. -CUSTOMER SERVICE- Customer Service is amazing, our waiter was assisting us with cooking the meat to perfection and gave us recommendations as we were quite confused on what to eat. He also gave us extra sides of rice and lettuce and taught us how to eat the korean style! -DECOR- The decor was amazing. It was very modern and looked like a heaven for kids, teens and anime fans. It’s really fun and welcoming with the anime featuring Naruto and other anime’s (I’m not really sure which ones) -FOOD AND DRINK- I got the strawberry milkshake which was frothy,creamy and sweet. I also got the Thai citrus fruit tea with tapioca. I can assure you that was the best drink I have EVER had. The tapioca wasn’t too chewy which made it easier to have in between sips of ur meal, it was also a bit zesty. The iced citrus tea was amazing, it was fruity and lived up to its name! For food, I got the beef ramen noodles which was amazing. The beef was seasoned well and the ramen noodles had a somewhat rough but soft texture. It also came with seaweed, eggs and an AMAZING broth that was salty and spicy. I’m not sure if I have also mentioned it but the waiter also gave extra Korean sticky rice as I finished all my noodles, it was really nice with the broth.

So, don’t listen to all the bad reviews about it, portions are massive, waiting time is not long and food is worth it for...

It was the most underwhelming experience I've had. The hype behind this beautiful place is surreal but to our shock, the overall service was abysmal, the server were not at all friendly nor welcoming. After reading and trying to understand the menu and not even getting recommendation by the staff we were left waiting for more than 45mn for an unattractive, not so special food The noodles were cold, the beef took a while to come as well and this left us waiting a while longer. The servings were not enough for one person. And tge cherry on top is the prices For such prices we were expecting more but got even less than expected.

I would not recommend nor for the food nor for the experience of Korean barbecue especially for those prices (please check attached pictures)

If anyone is reading this Please go downstairs and get yourself some great Shawarma at Damasquino for much much much less.
