Restaurant Signature — Restaurant in El Biar

It’s been 4 years since I last visited signature and I was looking forward to going again. We went as a family, and everyone was looking forward to it.

Unfortunately for me, the menu changed but this was not mentioned anywhere on their socials. I was expecting sushi which was on the old menu. The new menu was very typical of any restaurant; you have your meats, pasta and fish.

The food was a little expensive but the quality was there. I guess it’s something you’ll pay only for special occasions.

Unfortunately the biggest thing that let it down is the smokers. The restaurant looks high class until you get the people that are smoking inside. They say they have separate areas for smokers and non smokers, but this is an indoor space. You can smell it and the smoke blows on your face. It’s disgusting and one thing that needs to be addressed right away. My wife couldn’t stand the smell and did not manage to enjoy her food.

I spoke to the manager afterwards and they said they’re going to address it.

One other negative is the servers, I requested a bottle of water, the server forgot and I was waiting for 20 minutes until I complained to another server. Yet other tables were requesting ash trays for cigarettes and were receiving a prompt service.

Overall, it was not the Signature I experience 4 years ago and was disappointed in that. I hope the management do listen and make...

If you want to take kids out with you then think twice, unfortunately smokers are welcome inside the restaurant, we smell cigaret even though we just sat in a non-smoking area, and although the restaurant was full of families and their kids, there were two people smoking near us in the middle of the place, and there was another woman smoking in the eastern corner of the restaurant. So in general the service was average. The menu is very diverse unlike appetizers and salads which is limited. For the taste nothing exceptional. The place was clean and neat, except for the toilet that lacked an upgrade. For the prices, its exaggerated compared to other places with the same service and the same category !

إن كنت تريد إسطحاب الاطفال معك ففكر مرتين، لأن المدخنين مرحب بهم داخل المطعم للأسف، كنا نشم رائحة السجارة رغم أننا جلسنا (صدفةً) في مكان مخصص لغير المدخنين و رغم أن المطعم كان مليئا بالعائلات و أطفالهم، كان هناك شخصين يدخنان بالقرب منا وسط القاعة بالاضافة إلا فتاة أخرى كانت تدخن في الزاوية الشرقية داخل المطعم. الخدمة كانت متوسطة على العموم، لائحة الطعام (الطبق الرئيسي) جد متنوعة عكس المقبلات و السلطة فهي محدودة، أما عن الطعم فلا شيء إستثنائي. كان المكان نظيفاً و مرتباً عدا المرحاض الذي ينقصه الكثير من التحديث.

أما عن الاسعار فمبالغ فيها مقارنة مع أماكن أخرى بنفس الخدمة...

I took an iftar in this restaurant and it was very very bad experience , they do a lot of pressure on you to come before the iftar like more than one hour even you confirm that you are coming than once you are there no one welcome you or install you you need to ask for that loool , once this is done you will see that all the table are very close to each other to receive a lot of people at the same time, honestly it is a waste of money very crowded we wait for more than one hour to reach the food since there was a lot of people than almost nothing still , it was a very bad experience the unlimited which in reality was very limited 😂 does not include the drink and the drinks cost a lot for one citrus jus 850 dzd , coca 300 dzd … food was not that fresh same for the sweet . I really do not recommend this restaurant is more marketing for nothing ,I understand why they are hiding comments on...
