Qahwa The Coffee — Restaurant in Hydra

I can tell the owner really cares and put so much love into it. It’s not as big as I expected but it’s still perfect for introverts or people who don’t want to be bothered. The seats are so comfortable and each one of them has a pillow in case you have back problems like me. At first I wanted to cry because it took me so long to find the place and when I finally made it I didn’t know if it would be worth it or not, but I tried their (hot) matcha latte and it tasted so good?? It’s so delicious you need to get it! I made the waiter re-do the flower three times to make it look perfect and I’m glad he was so nice about it!! I got to meet the owner and she was really nice :) and helped around too! She’s so pretty and kind bdkbdkd ^^ (I was in my homeless outfit and she still talked to me and asked for my opinion) anyways I love this place, the street is very quiet and the people who work there don’t shamelessly stare at you while you eat. So I recommend, just bring money with you.

(By the way I love the (lofi?) music they put on. I prefer relaxing music over pop music screaming in my ears so thank you for that.)

Well first of all i think positive about the place because the owner Ines c'est in sucre. I think i never met someone as humble as her. She took our orders and even saw her rearranging oranges 🥹💓. I felt like she really took seriously her business. That's why am putting 5 stars for the atmosphere. She is the sweetest you need to go to the coffee to meet her she is like one million times more beautiful and gentle than what she looks like on socials. The food part don't even need to talk about it, les quantités sont généreuses les tasses sont grandes et tout a l'air d'etre preparé avec soin and go try the pistachio cookies. Theeen le service the baristas were so smiley and fast when we ordered. The guy is cute though. Et comme je l'ai mentionné c'est elle même qui a prit nos commandes donc lorsque les baristas sont occupés avec d'autres clients she comes and have your orders and makes sure you appreciate everything. I went to check out Qahwa after reading a bunch of negative comments online. Honestly, those reviews felt off—almost like they were coming from fake profiles just trying to bring the place down out of jealousy 😒.

When I walked in, I was immediately impressed by the decor. It’s stunning with a refined, polished finish that really stands out in Algeria. It offers something new and different that you don’t see every day ✨.

I visited when the place was busy, so my order took about 10 minutes. The barista was super friendly and let me know about the wait right from the start, which I appreciated ☕.

About the prices, I noticed many people complaining that they’re too high. However, if you know anything about the cost of the imported products they use, you’ll agree that they’re completely fair. Qahwa is perfect for anyone who values quality over just finding a spot to sit.
