Fun - Salon De Thé - Pizzeria — Restaurant in Sidi M'Hamed

This is one of those rare places that keep their regular clients coming back in Algiers. It is situated in a secluded area near the sacred heart cathedral, so you know that in order to have clients they need to provide a good service. The place is wide with two levels, the second one being a sort of veranda with a view over the level below. It is very cozy and calm, and you can tell that most of the people there are regulars. The prices are good for what you get, especially for a place like that. Everything is clean, you can even see the cook making your food since it's an open kitchen, and server is nice. Although I'd say that it was hard to call for him since he didn't come up much. The food was okay. I must confess that i was disappointed by the breaded cotlet dish, the chicken lacked flavor and it was only saved by the rice and salad that accompanied it. The pizza was good. Changes can be made to the dishes if you wish. We were offered free tea after finishing our food which was a nice touch.
