Churrasqueira Talatona — Restaurant in Luanda Province

The space is very nice and the customers very posh.

The music is on the right volume and well picked.

The appetiser basket is just phenomenal. It might be due to fact i was quite hungry but the normal bread, cornbread , the falafel-ish and the cheese were simply flawless. I cannot recall eating such a nice cornbread.

It's all good up to the moment it gets to customer service and food:

The waiters were heedless and sometimes seemed even to panicate with the workload, which was far from their peak. Forgetting cutlery, orders and cups.

The restaurant could had proper bathrooms and laundry for their staff assuring the whole staff had shower and clean uniform (it doesn't seem it does).

The main dish was very salty and the sides( potato chips, sweet patato chips and fried banana) were soggy; the patato chips was so flat that seemed pre-fried chips cut in the half fried in warm but not hot oil.

The desert (chocolate mousse) came in a margarita's goblet with huge spoon, just hard to eat not for the flavour (which was a normal basic "good" chocolate mousse), but due to the tools offered for the work.

Boa noite. O restaurante é realmente muito bom, a comida e muito boa e o ambiente também, gerente até procurou saber se nós estávamos bem acomodadas, mas eu e as minhas amigas nos sentimos desconfortáveis com o comportamento dos garções. A princípio fomos bem recebidas, mas quando começamos a fazer os pedidos o garçom que nos atendeu parecia querer nos fazer gastar mais do que queriamos. Quando chegamos eles nos permitirão escolhe a mesa em que queríamos sentar, da qual apenas a posição delas é que as diferenciava uma da outra. Eu fiz o meu pedido e logo o garçom começou a questionar e até fez assentuou que a mesa em que nós estávamos era uma mesa vip, insinuando de que deveriamos gastar mais, ainda assim permaneci com o meu pedido e as minhas amigas com o delas. No final do expediente, ao pagar a conta, a conta tinha sido colocada a mesa, mas o garçom que nos estava a atender desde o princípio sinalizou para quem deveria ser entregue a conta e disse "essa aqui é que é a boss". Eu confesso que me indignei com o comentário, no caso tal comentário deveria vir de nós e não dele. No final as minhas amigas foram tirar fotos, visto o momento especial, e logo um outro garçom começou a fazer questionario específicos, se moravamos nos arredores ou se estudavamos nos arredores, o que para mim pareceu-me mais que ele queria saber o nosso "grau de importância" baseado-se no lugar onde viviamos ou estudavamos, o gerente até teve que discretamente o afastar de nós por causa dos questionários dele. Também gostaria de sugerir a autorização do menu online, por os preços online são diferentes dos preços no cardápio que nos foi...
