DON'S & MAMMA'S RESTAURANTE — Restaurant in Luanda Province

My children and I went for lunch and we were seated outside. If I had known people were going to smoke around us, I would have sat inside. I didn't know there was an inside area until it was too late. Food was ordered and it took a long time (as usual) but the food came out wrong. The server doesn't understand the menu (even when I pointed to the picture) and when I told her it's the wrong item, she kept pointing to the wrong item and repeating my order. I won't rate on Atmosphere because this is based on a home delivery order. We tried it out via Tupuca, so aside from the fact that it took too long to come, it seemed it took a while for our order to be done and they did not respond to our messages. Finally the order came and the portions were abismally small!! The burgers were good but for sides i.e. chips and stuff, I would recommend getting them elsewhere. The nachos and seafood options also have very little in the way of food. More stuffing and like you literally had to look for the shrimp...

Mi experiencia en este restaurante fue bastante decepcionante. La comida no cumplió con las expectativas en absoluto. Las papas eran evidentemente precocidas y sin sabor. Las carnes no sabían a carne, sino a una mezcla indefinida de especias, y su textura dejaba mucho que desear, como si hubieran sido recalentadas varias veces.

Para colmo, encendieron carbones para fumar con esos dispositivos árabes (shisha o hookah), y el local se llenó de humo y un olor muy fuerte que terminó arruinando por completo cualquier intento de disfrutar la comida.

Lo único rescatable del lugar fue la decoración, muy bonita “instagrameable”, y la limpieza del local, que estaba impecable. Pero lamentablemente, eso no compensa la mala calidad de la comida ni la incomodidad generada por el humo.

Las sobremesas parecían tener varios días de hechas (2 o 3 como mínimo), sin frescura ni sabor. Francamente, no lo recomiendo en absoluto y no tengo ninguna...
