Very pretty place on the beach but too many issues, we won't be going back.
Portion size is tiny. The food is not great. I got the caprese salad which is unseasoned and just has a scrape or two of flavorless basil oil on the plate. This was followed up by either tortellini or ravioli (can't remember which one) if which there was only six or seven pieces.
We were seated by the beach but it was absolutely stifling hot with too few fans. I don't know why but a huge sand bank had been built up which was both blocking the breeze and the view of the ocean.
Service was extremely slow. The food was extremely overpriced. Limited availability of wines on the menu - despite the fact that we were there for an early Valentine's dinner.
I will say that if they have a special menu or you go for lunch, it's quite a cheap option - but there is never any vegetarian option on the set menus.
They had some live music starting up as we were leaving and of course, like everything in Luanda it was painfully loud and made discussion impossible.
It's probably the best Italian food in Luanda, but that's not saying much. If you must go, I'd go when there...
Read moreNice place with a pleasant atmosphere. A place where you will feel like you are in Italy. Waiters are friendly and at your disposal at any time. Before ordering, keep in mind that you will have your appetizer coming—a delicious bread (I felt like I'm in Italy; the bread is so delicious that you cannot stop) with some cheese and sausage. We ordered beef carpaccio with burrata and octopus carpaccio—superb. Pasta is incredibly well cooked, al dente as it should be. The only thing that can make you feel uncomfortable is the bathroom, but the surroundings and the food make it not too noticeable. I recommend this...
Read moreItalian fine dining near the beach and absolutely worth it! Very suitable place to go on a romantic date or meet friends for a delicious meal. The service was attentive and staff tried their best to fulfill our requests. Drink and food service was at the right pace.
We shared a charcuterie board with selection of cheeses (one was truffle flavor - yum!), cured meats and Italian bread sticks. No crumbs were left! As a main course chose tagliatelle with mushroom and truffle: outstanding! Also the ravioli with a truffle sauce was delicious. The pizza with chicken and capsicum was a soso, not enough...
