The valley church beach is very nice. It’s on the busier end from the other beach we have been to in Antigua (Turner’s beach). A lot more people and more activities to choose from. There are some locals selling some products and if you don’t want to buy, they just peacefully leave you alone.

The Nest is a busy place. We went in the low season (beginning of August) and it was still busy. The staff is very friendly but the food did take almost two hours to get prepared to the point people were just leaving because they asked for their food many times with no avail. The food is def it rly worth it though! I tried “the local” fish and it was the red snapper and it was definitely very fresh! The creole seating and slow method of cooking is amazing! I also tried the coconut shrimp as an appetizer and it was very delicious. I would definitely eat there again but I’m hoping that next time the wait is not the extensive and it was just a one time thing they went through because it was the carnival time and they were...

After a day on the beach we drive up on a golf cart with a cooler that had some of our personal things on it.

Before we could even get out some local in a dirty wife beater walks up and asks what our plan was. Not that it was his business but we said we were going to get food and drinks at the Nest.

Then he tells us to leave our cooler if we don't want any trouble, then walked 50 feet away to talk to some other guy that also didn't look like an employee that was checking us out the whole time.

We could see the place was empty from the parking lot, no wonder...

We visited last week, loved the beach and the helpful guys looking after the sunbeds etc However when we went to purchase the bucket of beer offer sold at the Nest bar we was told the offer had been removed and no WiFi was available even after purchasing drinks We would have ordered food for our lunch but felt disappointed with their attitude towards people from the cruises... Finally upon using the toilets there was no water to flush the toilets considering Antiqua has a beech for every day of the year maybe you should go elsewhere...

I have spent many afternoons at The Nest and have loved each one of them. They make a really good Bloody Mary and their coconut shrimp is awesome, so are their French fries. I found the bartenders and servers to be very friendly and I never waited long for another drink. Valley Church Beach is one of the best beaches in Antigua, it is rare to see something more beautiful. Hermit crabs everywhere, fresh coconut stand, paddle boarding, jet skiing, they also have showers.. lovely place to relax. Can't wait to be back to this cute beach bar!

Perfect spot to get good food, drinks and an amazing beach to relax for hours! The beach is stunningly beautiful with lots to walk around on the coast after enjoying a good meal at the Nest! The currents can get strong but as long as you stay on the shallow parts, it isn’t too bad! The food is amazing and the staff is very friendly and welcoming! Would definitely visit here again and enjoy more of the beach as possible! My favorite part of Antigua for sure!

The food was delicious—we tried the conch, coconut shrimp, and jerk chicken, and everything was flavorful and well-prepared. The prices were a bit on the high side for the portion sizes, but that’s expected in Antigua. The best part is the location—right on the beach with a stunning view. Just a heads-up, if you plan to spend the day on the beach, the price for two chairs and umbrella is $20USD. Overall, a solid spot for good food and a beautiful setting!
