La Palita Recoleta — Restaurant in Autonomous City of Buenos Aires

We met to have the opportunity to chat and have a good lunch. (Traditional meeting in Argentina) Everything went fine until it was "lunch time" The waiters started to press and push for the orders, then brought the meals, and the pressure to make us finish was very well felt untill the bill arrived and paid off. We weren't the only people there and the same happened to the others patrons. What I had wasn't extraordinary and my companions said the same. Good food and not overly expensive in a cute space (aside from the tips…keep reading). The patio was nice the road is quite busy so I’d suggest sitting inside. The only issue we encountered was the fact that the restaurant charged us TWO service charges, then our server demanded an additional tip as we were leaving and said tips weren’t included. First, this was by far the best location we had eaten in Buanos Aries in 2024 or 2025. Truly recommend this restaurant!

The Wok Chicken was great, and Suzy loved the De Pollo - Chicken stew. Both meals had large portions and were full of flavor.

Waitress was very attentive and patient with our limited Spanish.
