Punto Café - San Telmo — Restaurant in Autonomous City of Buenos Aires

In the last 6 months or so, the staff have stopped filling up the coffee cups properly (the ones served with milk usually should come filled to the brim). The cappuccino comes in a smaller cup and is not filled properly (about a centimetre space to the top) and also comes cold… which is a bit frustrating, as you’re paying enough for it.

I feel like the quality and attention to detail of the serving of the coffee has gone down a lot. 😔 disappointing.

The last couple of times I went to the café it took a long time to be served.

I dropped in this week, waited 20 minutes and then when it was my turn, the server left the bar to do other things, and I continued to wait some more. By that time, I’d run out of time to actually have a coffee and had to leave.

That’s the first time that’s happened, but it’s not the first time it’s taken a while to be served. 😔

Maybe they need some more staff at busier times? There’s only chipa on the savoury side of the gf menu… it’d be great to be able to choose from more options.

Picture it: outdoor seating, sunshine , carrot cake and iced latte with some good ol people watching.. came from Palermo to San Telmo just for this cafe! My friend from Netherlands was staying at a nearby hostel and tells me he works at this cafe after grabbing brunch most days and suggested I come with one morning. So I did and I can see why he chooses this place over the other cafes. It’s homey yet stylish enough for a working space after a nice meal. My carrot cake ( excellent taste and fair amount) + avocado toast ( the egg is not poached) + iced latte was 18 usd/...

Excellent coffee spot located in a comfy corner of touristy San Telmo. Coffee quality is splendid, they offer a good variety of pastries. I only tried one of the cookies and it was really good. The staff is friendly and the prices are good for that location and the quality of the products they sell. There is more seating space than in many of the other coffee shops in the neighborhood, you can find tables inside or on the wide sidewalk.
