Onde El Corto. Excellent food, service and atmosphere.
El Corto, the short, is the cook, and owner that does a simple, reduced menu for a few guests at lunch time.
It has a couple of tables inside, but we chose to sit outside in one of the four tables in the garden. At the end of the garden theres a small vegetable garden as well as a greenhouse where El Corto grows, at least, some of his vegetables.
His house is, in a residential neighbourhood in Calafate away from the city centre.
Food is wholesome, beautifully cooked with the home feel. Milanesa de Vacío was excellent served with Papas.
The freshly cooked bread at the beginning was simple but excellent. The homemade alioli fantastic.
The Lamb Raviolis were very very good as well.
Desserts, mousse and flan were simple yet excellent.
The service was also very good, in a natural and friendly way, yet professional. 70000 pesos for...

The location is a little bit of a walk from the downtown area, and a hill climb. But trust me it's worth it. Would come back if we were here longer. Thank you again. The seafood soup...
