Los Toldos Resto — Restaurant in El Calafate

We went to this place to buy take-away empanadas for the next day, the first thing we asked was at what time they close. They say 11:30 so we agreed to buy some, payed in advance and went to have dinner somewhere nicer.

We came back at 11 o'clock and they were closed.

The next day we came back to get our money back, they laughed at us and asked why wey didn't show up on time, then after some time arguing they accepted they closed earlier because the place was empty and there was a concert in town, later a third guy came from the street, he was really aggresive. He yelled at me and my girlfriend and toldo us to leave and when we were outside he tryed to punch me once.

Fortunatelly this guy was as bad at boxing as he is as a host and un terrible shape so he couldn't hit me.

We were far away from home and outnumbered so we decided to leave without fighting back... By far our worst experience in Calafate, don't go...

Trying to find a place for a quick, unpretentious meal, came across Los Toldos. Had a pizza and a beer with a friend of mine. Pizza was ok, not the best nor the worse. Owner very friendly. Time for bill and I see that they had already added their 10% tip to it. Paid it and waited for our $300 peso change. Nothing...they totally acted as if we weren't there. Ackward...

Pedimos una pizza que dice ser al horno de barro y era una prepizza de supermercado. La empanada de cordero esta bastante bien, pero la pizza era olvidable. En el precio te cargan Obligatoriamente cubierto + propina. Gastamos 4mil, siendo 4 y comimos 1 pizza, 4 empanadas y...
