Was initially so excited to visit this restaurant for the centolla(crab) after reading reviews but they didn’t have any. Ended up ordering seafood fusili but it came with tagliatelle instead, however I accepted it. Pasta was over cooked and too soft for my liking. Fried calamari came with a soft batter which was frankly inedible. Upon paying, the bill didn’t add up. So I question and was told very rudely(by Sergio the owner I presume) it was the 10% service included. I would gladly pay for service if there was any, however in this instance it was shoddy and not deserving of. It was a sneaky way of adding a service charge. If he had indicated it clearly, I would have no qualms in paying it. However don’t add it on without even mentioning it in the bill - it’s very deceiving and not appreciated. I wonder how many customers he has tricked into paying the amount he’s written down. I took it off the bill and didn’t leave them a penny extra as they do not deserve getting a service tip for...
Read moreOmg. Just take his suggestions. I’m not sure the one who served us was Sergio, but the man with long hair suggested some things that was great. I think I had bass, simple and fresh. Fresh fish is best simple. It didn’t need anything else. LOVED it. And we had the grilled Trout and the shrimp appetizer? Shrimp just boiled and chilled served w lemon and some sauce. Fresh so you don’t need much with it. The shrimp was suggested as well as the bass. We wanted to order some food to go for our trek, he suggested some things and gave him full authority. We had the BEST seafood salad! It had squid, mussels, clams, shrimp, marinated w an easy sauce. Our take away also came with toasted croutons or seasoned toasted bread. Sliced prosciutto? And battered shrimp.
I am so bummed we can’t go back tomorrow. Flying out in the morning. Should have caught him again this evening! That seafood salad is as good as the glacier views. Oh how...
Read moreWe had a wonderful experience at Sergios. Highlights included the calamari, shrimp with "golf" sauce, fried mozzarella, grilled hake, and seafood stew. The staff did not speak much English but this not prove an issue aside from confusion regarding a bottle of wine. The restaurant appeared to host a mix of locals and visitors, mostly spsnish speaking. The food was excellent and was brought out in an a good candence allowing for a relaxed family dinner. Dessert including the dulche de leche flan was a perfect sweet ending to a very savory and...
