Gómez Rooftop Piso 10 — Restaurant in Mendoza

1* reviews are rare for me, this place deserves it.

Walked in at 7:35pm wanting to watch the sunset. There were zero customers inside and only one table out on the terrace was occupied.

The host (woman with a shaved head and Hello Kitty color braces) ran over and told us if we don't have a reservation we can only sit inside. "all tables out here have a reservation now, at 7:30". We suggested we could simply have a wine and watch the sunset until the people actually showed up, and we would move as needed, as it was already 7:35 obviously there were going to be no shows. And there were at least a dozen tables on the terrace, empty.

She became aggressive and said "the only tables are inside or nothing".

Small minded operation, I can see why it was empty at sunsetbajd gets poor reviews.

Lá peor experiencia que tuve. Primeramente, el ascensor en muy malas condiciones, las puertas del mismo todas descolocadas. Tengo que destacar que hay olor a caca en todo el lugar, un olor a cloaca muy fuerte, desde el ascensor al salón. Fuimos sin reserva, ya que no toman después de las 18hrs, una chica nos hizo pasar a una especie de ante sala mientras esperábamos que nos desocupen una mesa en el salón. El lugar es hermoso, muy linda la decoración, luces y ambientación. Esperamos fácil 20 minutos a que se desocupe una mesa hasta que nos tuvimos que quejar porque hicieron pasar a 3 mesas que llegaron luego de nosotras. Pedimos un cosmopolitan y un mojito, ambos sólo tenían sabor a limón. Pasamos al salón, pedimos un ojo de bife, una trucha y unas berenjenas parmiggiana. Esperamos por lo menos 40 minutos en que llegue la comida. La carne estaba bien, en su punto pero los papines estaban literalmente AGRIOS, tenía una especie de pasta de tomate seco ahumado que dejaba un gusto horrible en la boca. La trucha estaba fría, con espinas, el puré que la acompañaba también estaba fría y la coliflor cruda. Las berenjenas estaban muy ricas, pero solo tenían una feta de queso muzzarela arriba, no parmesano. La verdad, una tristeza. El total fue de $110.000, muy caro para lo malo del lugar, es mejor comerse un pancho en un kiosco, te atienden mejor y seguro es...
