You gotta love these people posting their reviews here that it is not 'up to my New York standards" Well, stay in New York then. This is not New York. This is Argentina. Mendoza to be exact. The standard in this city has always been Capri and perhaps a close second Trento across the street where the ambiance there takes you back to yesteryear. But Los Inmigrantes is the NEW real deal. Pizza master Pablo is a genius. There are great apps, various empanadas and fresh beers. But the main event are the pizzas! The classic Especial with ham, mozzarella, green olives and roasted red peppers is a great starter but even if you get experimental in future visits you cannot go wrong with the Fugazza pie. Just try it! Just not in New York---because there is no such pie....

Las empanadas, ricas, aunque algo quemadas. La cerveza, bien. Los puntos a mejorar: El mozo te trae el pedido en la mano. No usa bandeja, lo que sería recomendable para evitar el contacto de sus manos con los vasos o platos La mesa estaba sucia y engrasada , debí pasarle una servilleta( la cual quedó negra ). Así y todo, me arremangué las mangas de la camisa para evitar el contacto con esa grasa. Había poca iluminación en el lugar, algunas farolas estaban apagadas ( supongo que para ahorrar electricidad) Desde el 1er piso podía verse el techo o alero del piso de abajo, tenía cosas arriba y además estaba sucio y con polvo acumulado de meses El baño, un asco, no había agua en la.mochila del inodoro. La puerta, pegoteada, parecía no haber sido limpiada en meses Los mozos, aunque serviciales y educados, tenían mal aspecto y no usaban uniforme . Uno, con barba de días y buzo polar viejísimo, parecía un trapito de la calle. Básico, si estás sirviendo comida, la higiene es primordial En general, el lugar lucía viejo, despintado y poco higiénico. Venido abajo ( supongo querrán ahorrar en detergente y lavandina) Conclusión: la parte culinaria es aceptable, pero la higiene es fundamental. Deberían hacerse el curso de atención al turista/ cliente que ofrece la Municipalidad a los negocios gastronómicos. Mientras tanto perderán...

We've come here about 3 times in the span of 5 days. Solid pizza, reasonably priced. The pizzas in Argentina are very mediocre so being able to find a good pizza spot is very hard to come by. We clinged to this place when we wanted to change it up a bit. Small spot, friendly staff and they actually listened to when we asked to have the pizza...
