Our last meal in Mendoza was at Abrasado and it did not disappoint. The ambience of the restaurant both inside and out was very nice! We chose to eat a la carte, rather than stepwise menu, sharing an appetizer, prime rib beef for two and two sides, and a bottle of Malbec (mosquito malcrido - May have got spelling wrong) We were surprised and delighted by the tartar served on a macaron- it added a nice sweetness to the dish. The prime rib was ordered as medium rare, but definitely came rare, they happily cooked it a bit longer for us as it was just a bit too rare for our tastes. We found with a light sprinkling of additional salt, the meat really came to life. Our sides were tasty, but a bit on the colder side, potatoes seemed to be served warm, not hot. The wine was fantastic! The experience is lovely, and comes with a variety of bread, one at each course to enjoy with local olive oil & balsamic. With ordering a coffee, we received an assortment petit fours as a small dessert.

Thad very high expectations for this restaurant, but let me just say that it exceeded every single expectation. The grounds were incredible and historic, and the service was impeccable from start to finish. You were greeted with a glass of wine which they clearly refilled several times, and everybody was absolutely on top of everything. Our waitress, Macarena, was the kindest and most thoughtful and honest person who guided us through the menu with ease and didn't have a single mess. I'm sure everyone is great, but she is particularly fun, knowledgeable, and all around excellent. We tried several wines and all of them were great, but she helped guide us towards the best options given our preferences. The steak was cooked to perfection, which is shockingly difficult to find an Argentina, because we like it on the more rare side. Overall, if you were looking for the best meal in Mendoza and the best waitress, you have found it!

An otherwise stellar restaurant with a problem of mistreating the customer. I made a reservation over whatsapp, but when I arrived, guards would not permit my party to enter, due to a miscommunication. We were rudely barred from the restaurant and forced to wait outside the entrance in the cold. After some time, we were finally permitted to enter, but the mood had already soured. And for what? When we came in, the entire restaurant was nearly empty. Many other folks started lunch after we did. This type of elitist/stuffy behavior really sullied our otherwise perfect experience. If you really want to act pretentious, then force your customers to purchase reservations on a platform like Tock or enter their information on something a bit more official than a whatsapp conversation (which is their current way of reservation management). The food and wine itself were excellent, service is a bit awkward and doesn't really quite know how to behave or welcome its patrons. We were so impressed with the wine we ended up going to the wine shop next door and purchasing a case to bring home.

1. Food was poor. I came for stake. I took aged rib eye and out of 450 at least 300 were bones and fat 2. It was not even close to medium raw and meat quality itself - is an issue (knifes as well) 3. on service: 3.1 we told multiple times thag we ar elimited in time an came for stake. they have forgotten our order and 1 hour later only started cooking it. 3.2. i have emphesized mhltiple tkmes thag i am driving and can allow myself only few amount of wino and need to control this. guys kept tryi g to top on my glass multiple times. when something goes wrong in other places like in w50bb list, at least guys say "sorry". place it self is unique and amazing. this is must in mendoza. their olive oil, omg - been so many times in Italy, Spain and Turkey, never tried smgh so good. but the restaurant - overrated

My visit to Abrasado was nothing short of spectacular, a testament to their Michelin-star quality. The highlight was the impeccable service provided by Vanina, who made our experience truly memorable with her attentive and knowledgeable approach. We opted for the 100th Anniversary Menu, and every course was a masterpiece. The journey began with an exquisite burrata appetizer, a blend of orange, beetroot, olive oil, and superb vinegar, paired perfectly with a Chardonnay. This dish set a high standard, which was consistently met throughout the meal. The main course, a dry-aged T-bone steak, was sublime. The meat was succulent and cooked to perfection, complemented by a robust Mosquita Muerta Black Malbec, enhancing the flavors beautifully. Our culinary adventure culminated in a delectable dessert: a brownie with ice cream and crushed nuts. Every bite was a delight, and the attention to detail in the food and service was evident. For anyone visiting Mendoza, Abrasado is a must-visit. The quality, coupled with excellent value for money for foreign visitors due to the exchange rate, makes it an unbeatable choice. Highly recommended! ¡Altamente recomendado!
