We were lured in by the two whole BBQ... llama? lamb? out the front. Outside ambience was lovely. Inside, it was a bit shabby, so was the menu. There were dogs walking around inside. All this was OK, but there were also flies around the place, which was not. The service wasn't as slow as we expected from the other reviews.
We got the mixed grill for 1 and a llama steak dish to share between 3 and that was plenty. The mixed grill was quite greasy, overcooked and dry. Still tasted good, but has so much more potential. I actually liked the thing which was some greasy pan fried tube, stuffed with something that had lots of flavour. Intestines??
The llama steak was actually quite nice. Couldn't tell that it was llama. It was like a more gentle tasting beef or lamb steak. Not as gamey as I would have anticipated.
A roaming acoustic band came to play next to us for a while, it was pretty cool.

Pedimos una parrillada para 2 y pollo deshuesado a la parrilla, la parrillada era puro riñon crudo y chinchulin, una tira de asado banderita y una tira de cerdo tambiem banderita, ambos incomibles de la cantidad de grasa que tenian. Los puntos de coccion eran malos, arrebatados por fuera y crudos por dentro. El pollo estaba crudo a pesar de ser deshuesado. Claramente el parrillero no tenia ganas de trabajar, cero amor por la cocina. Es la parrilla mas cara de tilcara pero la calidad de la carne y la coccion son pesimos, ni hablar de los cortes malisimos que incluye la parrillada. Los baños en muy mal estado, papeles tirados por todos lados, sin papel para secarse las manos. La mesa de al lado corrio con la misma suerte, a ellos les toco un corte abundante de vacio (cosa que a nosotros no, no sabemos cual es el criterio que usan porque pedimos lo mismo) pero estaba incomible, carbonizado por fuera y super crudo por dentro.
