I don't leave reviews for restaurants but in this instance I have to make an exception. The reason being that my partner and I endured the worst restaurant food experience of our 56 years on this earth. Being local to us we have patronised the Asian Kitchen many times over the years. We have enjoyed the extremely kind service and the delicious well prepared food... not to mention the generous portion sizes. But the past several times we have noticed the standards slipping. But we thought that we would still give them another go. The same old pleasant service was there but beyond that things fell away rapidly. We ordered Seafood Curry, Laksa, Vegetarian Fried Rice and Fish Cakes. When our order appeared in less than ten minutes they had forgotten the fried rice and fish cakes. They quickly whipped up some fish cakes for me but the fried rice was a write off. Oh well, luckily I at least had some cooked rice in the freezer at home. As for the mains, to say that they were disappointing and underwhelming would be far too generous. They were plain awful. It was hard to tell the curry seafood and laksa apart. The main difference being that one dish came in an oblong container whilst the other came in a round one. Other than that they both consisted of large amounts of barely cooked vegetables and seafood of dubious origins. And the sauces, well... they both looked, smelled and tasted the same. Having the appearance and consistency of that murky water that you have left in the sink after washing the dishes. There wasn't much sauce to go around for the laksa. But that was probably a blessing. In this instance less was more. And the laksa noodles came in a separate container ! This was easily the most unlaksa like laksa we have ever seen. Not sure what it was, but I'm sure that it wasn't a laksa. I read all of the glowing reviews for the Asian Kitchen and I am perplexed. How is it that so many people are served exemplary meals whereas we over time have experienced substandard fare. Maybe we're special and they save the really cruddy meals for us. Anyway, we gave them one more go. But that's it ! No more, finito, kaput !! The Asian Kitchen and...
Read moreTBH, this is the worst place I've dined in my whole life! Our family ordered a few noodle dishes, all meat had been doused in meat tenderiser (or bicarbonate soda), they smelled and tasted so fowl that I still gag recalling the experience. I know tenderising beef is common practice but I don't understand why chicken also needs to be tenderised, it made the texture of the chicken all funny we weren't sure if they are half cooked half raw. Vietnamese pho came with pad thai noodle that wasn't cooked properly (it was aldante, so wrong), no bean sprouts no coriander no mint but charged $18?. The soup was wrong as well. Chow mein was sugary, greasy, salty & down right disgusting. We were worrying about food poisoning the whole time. It's very hard to leave such harsh comments. We only went there because someone has said they had the best Singapore noodles there. That comment got us there only to find out the hard and expensive way. We only eat out on special occasions because eating out is expensive. So if you are going to open shop and sell food, please do it properly. The only good thing I can say about this shop is the lovely friendly lady at...

Called up trying to find lunch for myself and my tradesman. A very very kind lady helped with every question I had and even informed me of all ingredients in case we were allergic. Food was hot and ready in 10 minutes. $14 each for a protein and rice and they were both packed to the brim one even overflowed. The lady was very kind gave me all I needed and even offered to open the door for me on the way out. Will definitely be back, highly recommend everyone to take their business here and support them. Thankyou, see you...
