Located near the train station and local Community Centre at Clarence Park is Sublime cafe . It’s in a corner position in a leafy street , which gives it a lovely neighborhood feel. My friend and I came for a late lunch and were seated promptly and poured glasses of water while we perused the menu . Staff were very friendly and ordered on an iPad .There are a number of gluten free options available and I chose a Benny Rosti , while my friend opted for one of the specials , which was a cauliflower cake , with herbs and whipped feta. I did see another few meals come out and they were all of a decent size , so it’s defy lake for money . The coffee is Sublime , which has dark roast , and I had my usual almond latte but I also ordered a tiramisu latte ( when I saw it in the specials board ), which was an iced long black with marscapone foam - and this gave the coffee a completely different taste , almost sweet and had fruity notes . The Benny Rosti was unusually served , with the rosti done in a thick rectangular slab , which gave you much more rosti than the usual pancake shape ( I preferred this as you got more potato!) . The eggs were also done perfectly, their gooey yolks dripping over the plate . Sublime has both inside and outside seating , so there is quite a bit of room here - maybe for their bottomless brunches ?? They also have a few cakes and biscuits in a small case near the register ( again , there were a few gluten free options) And it’s a nice area for a stroll after your meal . There is even a nice second hand bookstore next door for those who don’t want to leave straight away .

A cute little cafe in the middle of North Melbourne serving up awesome coffee and healthy meals and treats. Specialising in smoothies and salads, everything looks so fresh and delicious. However I was just in search of a quick takeaway coffee, and I was drawn in by the friendly vibe. I had to try one of their healthy cookies, and it didn't disappoint. Along with the yummy coffee, it was a great snack on the run. Service was really efficient and friendly, and I wouldn't hesitate to go back for a healthy wrap, vegie pattie or salad.

I don’t understand how two kids meals can be so different my son has a burger with 3 pieces of bacon and an egg my daughter can’t even get two pieces. Asked why she only gets one and all the said is that what we do however came here when they first opened up again and she had 3 or 4 pieces. Also it’s so everyone is aware they ar ethe same price! They also forgot the sauce the kids chips and I had to ask twice. Normally would come here after kids drop off but probably won’t be coming here as much anymore

Pretty disappointed with both our breakfasts as they were served almost stone cold. As we didn't have time to send back our meals and wait again for them to be prepared properly we ate them. When the waiter came to get our plates and we were asked how the meals were, we replied we were disappointed as they were both stone cold. To this he grunted and walked off without saying a word. When going to pay we mentioned it again to him and said you didn't say anything when we mentioned we were disappointed with our meals. To that he got the manager who rather aggressively told us the kitchen is so close to all the tables that the food goes out whenever they hear the ding. Apparently maybe our food was cold because where we were sitting in the courtyard and it's breezy. There was no accountability or ownership that they served cold meals and there was nothing offered as a result. It's unfortunate to have this experience when we have just moved to the area and it's close by. We definitely won't be...

Sublime Cafe was a really lovely place to visit for coffee and cake. It was very warm and inviting and so were the staff. Staff were super kind, attentive and great at their jobs. They offered a vegan cake option was was a lovely texture and sweet taste. The coffee was perfect, and the art was so cute! The barista is very skilled! They have indoor & outdoor heating, with heaters which was lovely. In their bathroom they use Yarn'n toilet paper which supports First Nations & donates 50% of their profits which is amazing to see Sublime Cafe supporting. They also had a little feminine basket! Lastly they had a sign supporting Shine SA which is great. Overall the experience at Sublime was... Sublime! I would reccomend it to anyone, however id love to see more vegan cake/cookie options as I'm not always feeling a meal (they did have vegan meal...
