Beckman Street Deli — Restaurant in Adelaide

Is this the most racist shop or what. I came in to the store, waited for a table, no one greeted me or offered a table. Not even during busy hour. Eventually I had to ask one of the staff at the counter doing nothing for a stupid table. Then once I sat down, she did not offer water or even a menu for another 5mins. I thought maybe I need to order up front. Then I waited and waited for another 5mins while your waitress chatting to an old customer, totally ignored me. This young girl needs more training and education apparently. I only came in to this shop because I happened to be in the neighbourhood. A warning to any Asian customer, DO NOT go in there unless you are happy to be treated like air. They treat people differently for whatever pathetic reason they have. This came highly recommended and was almost as good as we were told. Unfortunately The Library was pre-booked so we couldn't sample it as others had. Because the site has smooth walls and board or ceramic flooring the noise level began high and grew to almost deafening intensity! Considering that there is a wide range of food, well prepared and presented accompanied by a large variety of liquid refreshments and excellent service, the high noise level was the only distraction.
