Angaara Indian Restaurant offers a great value for money, especially if you're looking for a budget-friendly meal. Don't expect high-class facilities, but the respectful staff and warm service make up for it. The $15 buffet is incredibly reasonable, featuring a good variety with biryani, one meat dish, two vegetable options, dessert, papadam, and even chai tea. Students will appreciate the available discounts too. While the food is served well and great for takeaway, the toilet facilities could be improved, especially for families. Overall, it's a solid choice for a quick, tasty meal without breaking the bank.

I bought chicken biryani for two people. Their portions are very large. I’ve never seen such big portions offered at any other restaurants. Even though we bought two chicken biryanis, one is really enough for two people unless you like to eat big. The biryani was tasty too. It had a good mix of spices and a lot of chicken pieces. The rice was offered with gravy and raita.

I ordered 3 curries from this place , Butter chicken,Kadai paneer , tawa tikka chicken. All the three curries were so freaking salty and sour. I had guest came over and I had worst embarrassing moment. See the food colour added to the butter chicken yuck. Worst worst worst place to get your food. Please avoid it.

I wish I could be generous with my stars to this establishment, but il explain.

I had gone into this place with my family to enjoy a decent meal, to our surprise the pictures of food offered inside the restaurant were just breathtaking and tempting. We ordered, 2 Goat Biryani, 1 Lamb Vindaloo & 2 Naan.

Il be honest, Biryani was probably the only good item they had. I wouldn't say the best, I would have gone to another rival restaurant and have had far better Biryani. PS. There was hair served in the Biryani, which when I pointed out to the server, she just picked it up - threw on the ground; smiled and walked away 😁

Lamb Vindaloo was an absolute disgrace, and Naan .. I could not believe what they called naan.

Overall, a terrible experience. I may want to try them out one more time. If the experience is better, I will surely change my ratings here. For now. Il need a bit of conveniencing to go back to Angaraa.

Also, please hold on to your Facebook spamming posts. If you can't have quality food, don't disgrace your...

Ordered the butter chicken, paneer, garlic cheese naan, simosa, papadums and mint yogurt.

Butter chicken - Was basically just sauce. Came with 5 pieces of chicken which was very disappointing. The 5 bits of chicken that were included were grisly. The sauce itself had average flavour but very salty.

Paneer - I enjoyed the taste of the paneer but again, mostly just sauce.

Naan - Was thin and oily and clearly warmed up in a microwave.

Simosa - Had a nice flavour and was crispy. However, to our absolute shock, was served with tomato sauce. Tomato sauce?! We ordered the mint yogurt to accompany as they didn't have any tamarind sauce, and this is best summarised as milky water with chopped up cucumber in it.

Papadums - Very oily.

The staff were lovely and the price point was very affordable. We paid a total of $47 for everything. I guess you get what...

If you're thinking about ordering from here please save your money. Our food was cold, we ordered 2 butter chickens to feed our 3 young children and the curry was watery and there was 11 small pieces of chicken there definitely wasn't enough to feed them all. The naan was cold and greasy. The seekh kebab was so dry it was literally crumbling when it was picked up. The vinadaloo was watery and sour :/ we also ordered a chilli chicken that was a chef's special. The only thing that was special about it was the horrific way it tasted. The chicken was dry and tasted like it had been deep fried the day before and refried before serving it to us. The chilli paneer was rubbery and just a hard NO. I'm hopeful that no one will get ill from the food as it was very clearly yesterday's food warmed up (...
