Usually have nothing to complain about until there’s an issue where it has not been dealt with well. Had to persist and feel humiliated and embarrassed. Re: two separate managers and now the store manager also who took initiative to contact back (after reading initial review) whereas the other two who said they would call back had not and when I called to follow up was told they were busy but had the whole night and day to call back and it’s still unresolved after initially two but now it’s four days. Tomorrow being today I was asked to come and see the footage to find proof of as customers there. I asked for phone call back which they said they would but never got the phone call and when asked in drive through later that day possibly wasn’t even on shift. They said I had not been there but I was and then it was about the original transaction order which I didn’t have details of but they had dealt with when I was there. I think I have more patient then some who totally lost it as one of the managers pulled up two rude gestures to a mentally unwell impatient waiting in car after asked to come in. This confrontation spiral the situation almost out of control to my horror! My initial thought was had anyone ever had this issue with red but now it’s I wish I never been there or had to follow up and everyone should be given a receipt because cctv footage is not enough and it’s the staffs/managers words against the customers. Have no issues with the other polite young kids employed there who are respectful every time. Sorry that these kids had to be under fire tonight over $30 if I knew it wouldn’t be resolved I would not have come through, come into store and spoken to the store manager to explain everything over the phone. Felt hopeful that initial issue would be resolved for my friend but now actually more embarrassed, humiliated… can’t stop shaking my head thinking about it all. If I knew details of original transactions I would have stated. I can only say that I was there when they said I wasn’t so feel utter injustice over this incident where myself and the young staffers are subjected to being the firing line of disrespectful managers and store manager who didn’t answer phone thereafter. It seems that red managers are not trained to deal with customers when there are issues and hide behind young staff to be in the front of firing line of...
Read moreI’m extremely disappointed with the service we received at the Red Rooster Arndale location. We went to purchase a chicken drumstick, but the staff member at the drive-thru had difficulty hearing us even after we requested what we wanted 4 times. Despite repeating our order multiple times, there was no courtesy or effort shown to properly assist us.
After finally reaching the payment window, the muslim girl at the front counter took our payment first without confirming what we wanted. After realising she has gotten the wrong item we requested a drumstick again, only to be told that drumsticks were no longer available and only thigh pieces were being served. This was quite confusing and frustrating, especially since we could clearly see drumsticks being cooked in the kitchen. When we asked for a refund instead of accepting the wrong item that she tried to give us by lying that she put it in there, we were denied of any refund and were forced to take the wrong order thigh piece. This showed not only poor service but also a complete disregard for customer requests.
The staff member continued to insist that we take the thigh piece and that they were too busy to have a look onto what went wrong with the lady that took our order and kept forcing us to take the wrong order and deny refund. After requesting to speak with the manager, we were finally given the drumstick we originally ordered – but by then, the experience had already left a very negative impression. To make matters worse, the drumstick was served cold and lacked proper sauce, making it even more disappointing.
This entire interaction felt dismissive and careless. While this is not meant to target anyone personally or by ethnicity, frontline staff have a responsibility to represent the brand with honesty and professionalism. If this is how customers are treated, it raises serious concerns about management oversight.
We won’t be returning to this location and will be recommending others to consider visiting alternative Red Rooster outlets instead. It’s unfortunate that a once-reliable place has deteriorated in both service...
Read moreLunch time today I decide to take my family in the drive thru to and try red rooster for the first time together. With only one other car in front of me waiting for their meal, in total it was a 12minute wait just to receive the order.
Once we did, about a 2minute drive home my daughter bit into what was supposed to be a fried chicken wing happened to be a bunch of broken bones covered in batter. So back I go to complain at the drive thru and the response I got was not only rude and unprofessional, it was out right disgusting.
They not only argued about a refund with me and reason i revieved a hazardous piece of chicken bone was because "we are busy" I finally received the replacement meal.. yes I was satisfied it was replaced and cooked fresher than the last order they gave me but once bought home, this time it was I who bit into a bone that also was covered with batter.. no meat just bone people.
A team manager got back to me about a full refund and yet I have not heard anything back. I would deeply suggest anyone who is willing to go through what I have experienced today, perhaps try another restaurant and save yourself the trouble.
