Burger Boss Ascot Park — Restaurant in Adelaide

I love a good burger, emphasis on the ‘good’ part. BB blew my hungry little mind. They’ve got some of the best burgers I’ve ever had. I wish every McDonald’s was replaced with a Burger Boss 😄. The beef burgers are dope and the fries are crisp and salty. Everything is super fresh from the lettuce to the buns you can tell this place cares about freshness and the importance of using ingredients that haven’t sat in a container for days. The buns are plush and fluffy which I think is an, often ignored, pivotal factor in the quality of a burger. Oh and how could I forget the Boss Shakes, my lord they’re outrageously good 😆. I actually made a joke to my mate the first time we went, this place is DANGEROUSLY close to my work. I have to fight the urge to drive the 2 minutes for a burger and shake. Anyway, food aside, the prices are good and honestly anyone complaining about price needs to climb out from the rock they live under and realise how expensive life is in general these days- but seriously, even with the increase cost of living, the prices are pretty damn good. What do these people expect? The owner and staff are chill dudes who clearly enjoy sorting you out with a killer plate of food. The shop has a cool American diner aesthetic and it’s a nice environment. I’m trying to find something negative to mention about this place, and, as cliche as this is the only thing I can think of is the fact they close at 9-9:30. Although despite my burger cravings, I think the staff members have more than earned the right to sleep 😂 out of all the burger places, go here. Hands...

A friend and I visited about a fortnight ago. We were there as the doors opened for dinner service. Placed our order with front counter staff who seemed less than pleased to be there. They were at least polite enough, though really lacking in friendliness.

Upon sitting at the bar against the front window, we noticed immediately that the tables were coated in a film of grease, complete with crumbs and sticky patches. Definitely would expect that someone would make sure the dining room was clean, especially when the place closes between lunch and dinner. We asked the person that dropped our food off if he could wipe the table and he said Sure. And never came back. The other tables were on a similar state.

Decent serving of fries,nice and hot, but definitely had not been salted. My coke from the soda fountain was watery compared to what I've come to expect from a post mix.

My two stars are for the burger alone. It was fresh tasting and really lovely. I probably would have overlooked the service, if it weren't for the filthy tables and the rather patronising notes all over the dining room asking people to put their rubbish in the bin. That's fine. But perhaps provide some cleaning supplies too, so customers don't have to sit at...

I wanted to give this place ago as we moved nearby and love burgers. My son chose it for us to try for his birthday. The store itself is pretty cool with old movie posters and a faux diner feel. The staff were ok but could have been friendlier. They seemed not to really care about customer service. We ordered a large meal for take away. I personally had a cheeseburger and coke. I also called dibs on the bag fries (fries at the bottom of the takeaway bag). I was glad to not have paid extra for fries. They were soggy and bland. Certainly not up to the standard I like and expect. The coke was from a machine and was nice. The burger was the biggest disappointment. It was not well seasoned meat and was weirdly unable to tell it had meat in it. Quite thin patty. The burger was very substandard to other burger places that make nice patties that are well seasoned.
