Caffe Buongiorno O'Halloran Hill — Restaurant in Adelaide

Booked a table for breakfast. Repeatedly told by wait staff orders were taken by table service while they took orders for smaller tables at the counters.

Have now been here for an hour and a quarter and still waiting for food.

Edit: It took over an hour to get the table water ordered. The waitress and manager advised most tables were walk ins and they didn't expect to be busy. Manager was very blaze when table member tried to complain.

Food was cooked ok. Fairly average for a Cafe, so not worth the wait. Not any better food than the other cafe's in the area with better service.

Second time attending this location and second time with same issue. Management need to review their processes and work out how many customers they can realistically cater for to staff ratios, OR prioritise bookings and tell walk ins there will be a wait.

They also need to renew their menu's. Meals are plenty in size but quantities not being updated on them is false advertising. Most cafe's would advise of this in advance of ordering to...

First time visiting Caffe Buongiorno at O'Halloran Hill tonight after almost 5 years of living a couple of suburbs away. We booked a table via the Quandoo app the day before. We were so impressed with how friendly and attentive the staff were. They were very welcoming, and absolutely awesome when my friends 20 month old started crying when another diner accidentally bumped into her high chair. A young female staff member came over almost immediately with a bucket of coloured pencils and a colouring book and checked to see if she was okay. As soon as she took hold of one of the pencils she was so happy again. The food is really well priced and freshly cooked. I had the tortellini alla panna, my mate the mixed grill which he was was so happy with, it was not greasy or under\over cooked and his wife had an enjoyable pizza. The burgers and schnitzels I saw being taken to other tables looked great. I'll definitely come back here and most likely get an Uber Eats...

I went to the cafe on a Friday night, on arrival they were very quick to acknowledge, I had no booking but found me a table.

They are quick to offer drinks and bring them out promptly, my wife and I both ordered a calzone and garlic bread.

The garlic bread came out it was nice and warm but I prefer my garlic bread a bit crunchier and with more garlic as it does not have a strong garlic taste.

The Calzones came out and they looked appealing to the eye and did not disappoint, the dough tasted beautiful and the ingredients were fresh giving it a nice flavour I like how they do not use the cheap shredded and use quality ham. The bolognese sauce has a nice consistency. I added salt to mine got get it to be more flavoursome but that a personal taste.
