CIBO Espresso Brickworks — Restaurant in Adelaide

Customer service non existant in this place! Dont bother going there! Went with friend just before 4pm today. Waited at counter, after quite awhile told by male worker cleaning behind counter "with you in second". He then finished cleaning container on counter and then turned around with his back to us and continued cleaning the whole of back counter behind counter. Wouldnt you stop and take customer's order before continuing to clean your whole shop. Other female staff member was busy on coffee machine and didnt acknowledge us either. So we walked out whilst he turned around and looked at us - not bothering to say anything to us, his customers. Customer service 0/10 - non existant! Noone should be treated...

Ordered a coffee and a croissant at 4:30 to eat in.. we sat down and a few minutes later the person behind the counter brought the croissant in a box , the coffee in a paper cup .. the problem being we order this same order every week on the same day at the same time.. when I questioned the woman an said we were eating in she said they had turned off the dishwasher so they weren’t serving anything on a plate .. I sat the for a minute or two wondering why .. I approached the guy making coffee told him I wasn’t happy . While I was standing there I noticed a dirty dish in the kitchen waiting to be washed .. very poor service and a real lack of “ not my problem “ .. never going...

It was very disappointing to see a worker in a hospitality area smoking (chain) sitting on rails where trolleys are and people are needing to interact or walk pass …… dress was very rough like just crawled out of bed to come to work - walked in and within 5 minutes walked out to have 3-5 cigarettes—- then back into a food service area!!! Coffee was good food was okay and the lad that served was doing a good job and it was busy while other guy (assuming owner) was on the coffee machine!! Not a great look nor does it do much for my confidence in food...
