Absolutely wonderful service from Ainslie and Grace for our family get together in the Sports bar last week which was a group of just over 30 of us. Nothing was too much trouble. Very responsive in the lead up when I had any questions or concerns. Such care was taken to make it special for us and I got a lovely surprise to see that Ainslie had also set up a cake table in our theme. There is a decent selection of food in the Sports Bar and we found it to have a good vibe with friendly patrons. Was a great night which everyone enjoyed. We quite often eat in the dining room and I have always found the staff to be warm and welcoming. The menu has a range of good honest pub dishes with a few specialties added to the mix which our family enjoys. I really miss their salad and veg bar that used to be a part of the dining room because it was the best one around but understandably this isn't a possibility in the current climate. Thanks for being a welcoming place where we can get together with the family and make these memories.

This review needs a space for me to rate the food (since we didn't use a room!) The new renovation is very eye catching and we've driven past a few times and thought we should go, so today we did. The service was fantastic (although the flow of people lining up to order could probably be in a slightly better position, as it makes it hard when you walk in the door, with lots of older folk milling around. The menu is wonderful, really great varied range with lots of fantastic pictures via the table order app. We couldn't decide what we felt like, so went for a few dishes from the to share menu. Really impressively plated food, generous portions, and really high quality and distinct flavours- the chef should be commended - this is how you walk the line of great classic pub favourites and then more modern Australian fusion options. We will absolutely be back - worth the 15 minute drive from our house as our local is terrible. Congratulations to the staff on an excellent dining experience.

A great environment that serves standard pub meals; the newly renovated pub is a great place for some drinks and vibes with friends I've really been appreciating Adelaide's new trend amongst pubs; namely, renovated pubs introducing a great sitting environment for a prolonged state. The same holds for the Clovercrest - a longstanding pub that's recently undergone an amazing renovation that begs for a group of mates to sit in and enjoy a few beers whilst watching the footy The thing that I'm noticing with a lot of these places is that their food is pretty standard for pub foods. For me, this is great because roots are still being appreciated; however, some may come expecting more Overall though, great time out and love seeing the growing trend - will be back for some beers, for sure

I paid $20 dollars to see Mr Buzzy and Clearway play at this hotel last Saturday night...my friend and I walked in saw a function of a 50th birthday finishing up. There were decorations on free stand up tables.. but no RESERVED SIGNS. As soon as we got our drinks and placed them on a free table... a lady came up an d said this is our table and we are here for a 50th..and stated she was coming back to claim this table...we watched her go back and sat down another table...we were quite surprised .. after a while she came back (just before band was about to start) with a male in her company ..at this point we were starting to feel quiet uncomfortable and wasn’t sure what the outcome would be. We felt threatened and uneasy as we did not know were else to stand or place our drinks as the room was quite full by that time...the table had no one there at the start hence that’s where we placed our drinks. This lady was also approaching other people stating her claim of the 50th.. with this concern..we all started chatting and felt quite uncomfortable ...I started telling the security guard ...unfortunately it wasn’t taken seriously with the security guard... the evening was quite uncomfortable. I wish the hotel would of at least put up some room dividers or signs that we were not welcome in certain areas..I also talked to the bar tender and she passed me on to the security guard... won’t be going there again as they really don’t care.. later in the smoke room we overheard this lady saying the security guard was her friend... I thought a guard job was to protect and observe and not have a power status... disgusting attitudes ..Sorry we crashed your 50th..but the hotel dining section should be a bit more organized when they have a function and band for the public on the same night. We did not feel comfortable as we didn’t know what this lady was capable of and how far she was going to go ... very awkward ambience around the place....we just...

I do love calling into this pub on the crest on Montague Road it has everything that a bloke could want. By far one of the compact sports bars going around, lots of screens of TV that give you every single sports event going on at that moment on multiple screens. Like a punt on something well this little place has it all TAB is a big thing here and it has lottries and keno as well. Heaps of cold beers on tap for that nice blokey sit down conversation with a couple or four. The bistro through the second door is large and spacious and undoubtedly has one of the best value menus going around in SA. The staff in the meals area are outstanding and helpful guiding to your table of gluttony. You'll stare and ponder at menu for a while,it's big and caters for all. My faves here are the snitzel's with some of the most delicious toppings known to man(have a try of the clovey nova topping it's cracking good)! Want a steak it heads the nail home here they're tops, fish and chips rule here too but check the daily specials out,pot pies ,curries, pasta dishes and those daily meat roasts ,I've never had a bad one. The salad bar is awesome here and even has curried egg salad,it covers a lot on the salad bar and it's super fresh! There's lots of live music here on weekends as well and a big dance floor for those that want get up and do a jig. Want a pub that's got it all call in and be delightfully surprised your Saturday afternoon will be filled...

My partner and I attended our end of year Christmas work show on the 3rd of December and were extremely disappointed by the meal that was served. The starter of garlic prawns was overcooked, tasteless and cold. There was very little sauce with it and the rice that accompanied it was so overcooked I wasn't sure if it was lumpy mashed potato or rice. I ordered Barramundi fish and my partner ordered steak. My fish was a small, thin piece that was dry, tasteless and cold, and the chips that accompanied it were soggy and also cold. My partners steak was nice and pink in the middle but unfortunately it was very tough and again tasteless and was accompanied by dry, cold, roast potatoes. ||Fortunately my dessert of Christmas pudding was nice, and my partners dessert of Apple Strudel although not as tasty as expected was still better that the previous 2 courses. Feedback from others at our table indicated the other starter of pumpkin soup was very tasty, and the other main course of turkey was a lot better than our meals. On a brighter note the staff were efficient, friendly and helped create a festive atmosphere. The band was also very good. ||I've been to many functions over the years with more people in attendance than this one and with much better food. I believe there is no excuse for serving such poor quality food to paying customers, especially if you are wanting to maintain a...
