Generally not the one to write any bad reviews. Been gng to Dominos Plympton since 2015. And today is the last. Note that Domino’s Plympton.
As usual placed online order (INTERNET ORDER #: 85e78530-1236-11ed-b203-758678fd41ed) for 6.45pm pick-up. When to the store at 6.55pm, with 2 children waiting in car and was attended by staff Miss.Leah. Leah said it will take more 2mins. I said ok and waiting. Its 7.15pm, no one’s bothered to check with me why Am I waiting. So I went and asked Leah, to pls check my order. Then Leah says, oh sorry we missed your order and will start making it now, will take 10-15mins.
I asked why was I told to wait for 2mins intially, when the order was not even started. Miss Leah don’t bother to care and says it happens sometimes. And will give a free pizza.
I said, I am just after the service I paid for and nothing else. The service was not honoured and no respect for customers time. If the service and my time can’t be honoured I requested for refund. Obviously Leah was more than happy to Cancel the order and let me get out of store (that’s easy for them isn’t it). For refund, I requested for some proof that the order indeed is cancelled and I will get a refund. Leah advised since it’s online order refund would be processed online. I requested her full name to be written on store business card for which Leah just wrote her name on a piece of paper and says we don’t have business cards. Again no customer service principles and no proper response. Hopefully I will get my refund.
Writing this, so that the Franchise and the Dominos Brand put some effort to train staff to value customer and respect their time. These days with so much competition and options, need to value existing ones before expecting new ones. Bye Bye...
Read moreI am regular customer of Dominos for more than two years. I recently placed an order for four pizzas, chicken tenders, and a lava cake from Domino's at Plymton. I picked up my pizzas when I reached home and I discovered that two of the pizzas were overcooked.I reached out to the Dominos to address this issue, but unfortunately, the manager Ra* was unresponsive and informed me that there was a problem with their oven. I requested delivery of a replacement order, explaining that I was feeling exhausted from work and unable to drive due to my responsibilities as a mother of two children. The manager insisted that delivery to my area was not an option and engaged in a lengthy discussion about company policy without taking my situation into account. I asked if it would be possible to process a refund to my card so that I could order food online, but my request was declined. Instead, I was offered complimentary garlic bread, which I felt did not address the main issue at hand. I conveyed that I was not in a position to return for another pickup and reiterated that the situation stemmed from their oversight in checking the quality of the pizzas prior to serving. He refused my request to deliver the pizza and he repeated the company's policy. I paid for good food, but all I received was an explanation...
Read moreUnbelievably bad service! Placed an order, called after it was 15 minutes late. My order was never processed. Then after being processed I was told, 20-30 min. I call again, still not received after 35 minutes. Then I was told another 15 minutes. Pizza was delivered to the wrong person, after I told the lady several times the address she is referring to is wrong. I called again, after which I was continually put on hold. My partner then called, his call was answered. We asked to speak to the manager; we were put on hold for 15 minutes. I then called again, with no caller ID. The lady who answered actually asked me, are you calling from different numbers?! Her and the manager told my partner and I, don’t order from us. However we used Deliveroo and this is the only Dominos. After 3 and a half hours, +- 15 calls, we received the pizzas. The manager told us we would get fresh pizzas. We received cold pizzas, which we assume were first incorrectly delivered. Also, the lady who answers the phone has no phone etiquette! Needless to say, we definitely will not...
