Drifters is an absolute gem for pizza lovers! From the moment you walk in, the cozy and welcoming atmosphere sets the tone for a great dining experience. But the star of the show is, without a doubt, the pizza. The crust strikes the perfect balance between crispy and chewy, with just the right amount of char from the wood-fired oven. The toppings are fresh, creative, and generously applied, whether you’re in the mood for a classic margherita or something a bit more adventurous.

What sets Drifters apart is their commitment to quality. Every bite bursts with flavor, from the rich tomato sauce to the gooey, perfectly melted cheese. The menu also offers a wide range of options, including fantastic vegetarian choices and customizations for those with dietary preferences. The attention to detail is clear, whether it’s in the perfectly seasoned ingredients or the friendly, attentive service.

Whether you’re grabbing a slice to go or sitting down for a leisurely meal, Drifters never disappoints. It’s the kind of pizza that leaves you craving more long after your plate is empty. If you’re in the mood for pizza done right, Drifters is the place to go....

Great little gem in Pt Noarlunga. Food was very tasty and interior is very nice!

A few negatives and hopefully they will be worked out in time when they have been open longer. Customer service needs to be improved. When we walked in no one greeted us. There was a guy behind the bar who didn't even look up as we entered and three more staff floating around and not one person acknowledged us walking in or looked in our direction. When we asked to taste something the bar man didn't look impressed and it felt like he wanted us to hurry up. I'll note there was no one waiting behind us and we arrived very early at 5pm. A simple "Hi, will be with you soon" would have been appreciated when we walked in. I'll note there was one waitress that was great and came to chat a few times but the others hardly cracked a smile the whole time we were there and just put food down and walked away. It's a shame the customer service wasn't up to scratch because you guys have great food and a...

Came here for Father’s Day lunch, easy to book online. We were a few minutes late, but was able to get our table, we were seated next to the entrance, I’d usually be unhappy about this, but we had a great view of the sea, so it was nice looking out the window and watching the waves crash.. the menu is good variety, may I suggest adding some hot chips to the menu… the garlic bread pizza was ok. But I’ve had better.. the pepperoni pizza was very nice, not too spicy, also had the margarita pizza which had a nice amount of fresh basil on top.. the service was lovely, food was quick to appear, the pizza was good but lacked the wow factor.. the sauce needed more flavour.. good variety of drinks and cocktails.. Toilets were clean, they had an actual change table in the disabled toilets which as parent with two young kids I was very happy with I hate those fold out...

We went to Port Noarlunga the very first time and spent our afternoon there. Beautiful weather it was. We felt a bit hungry so we went to this Italian restaurant just on the esplanade. I wanted a traditional Neapolitan pizza, but they did not have that, so I walked down the road and saw drifters. Initially, I thought it was a normal pizza shop. I asked the staff at the counter about Neapolitan pizza, and she was not sure, but the chef explained how they made their pizza. 72 HOURS Recipe. My eyes lit up. So I ordered pesto pizza. It was a pleasure to the eyes to see the pizza bring made, and when it was served, I was on a journey of flavours. The pizza, pesto, roasted eggplant and pumpkin, sundried tomatoes and cheese. We loved every single bite of it. My stomach was very happy after eating that. We will visit again for sure.

This review comes from someone who has owned 4 pizza ovens, currently having an expensive Gozney. I am a pizza obsessive. Making at home and eating out where I can find good pizza. And I thought the pizza at Drifters was one of the best I’ve had in a long time, including London where I was visiting from. They have a very expensive pizza oven and clearly a team who know what they are doing with it. Great flavour on the crust, nice bit of char, cooked perfectly and loads of toppings. And an extra point for the staff member who saw me struggling covered in hot honey and brought out some serviettes. Would happily spend an afternoon there drinking beers and eating multiple pizzas if I lived in the area
