I bought a hamburger with the lot today at Port Noarlunga Fish and Chips from Jim, Kathy, Marina and Kosta. Wow, wow, wow says it all! The burger was without any doubt the very best I've ever eaten with the taste amazing, especially the meat pattie which tasted fantastic! The chips were also fantastic - crunchy and very tasty. Jim and Kathy provided amazing customer service today as usual. I have been a customer of theirs for the past 30+ years. They are without doubt the best fish & chips shop in Adelaide, not only for their amazing food but their outstanding customer service. In all the 30+ years I've been a regular customer of theirs, I've never ever heard any customer complaints - in fact just the opposite. All the customers I've observed seem to have a personal very friendly relationship with them. They love their customers and their customers love them. My favourites from Port Noarlunga Fish and Chips are their fish especially crumbed, potato fritters, chips, burgers and many more! I always buy my food from Port Noarlunga Fish & Chips but a few weeks ago I bought a hamburger from a local and I was extremely disappointed - the burger was so bad I only ate a few mouthfuls and had to throw it out - it cost $12 and I had to turn around and make my own lunch. Huge mistake. I'll never go to that shop again - I'll always buy from Port Noarlunga Fish & Chips! I highly recommend Port Noarlunga Fish & Chips. For me, it's a 10 out of 10 for food quality, taste and customer service! They offer a huge variety of different types of food with a fantastic atmosphere! A huge congratulations to Port Noarlunga Fish & Chips, Jim, Kathy,...
Read moreI had an awful service despite good fish, calamari, scallop, prawn with tasteless hot chip with worst tartare sauce ever. I got order 128, seeing 130, 132 and my friend's order (after me) called out to pick up. after nearly 15 minutes, I asked them how long is my order 128? They suddenly realised and started cooking my order. All of they don't have gloves. There was a time I saw a staff quickly used her hand to help flip cooked chip from cooking basket to container. When I got my order, I said "I'm not happy with your service and I saw you use your hand to touch food". She loudly defensively said that's computer flaw, and as human being, they can't do anything. She denied touching food by her hands but using tongs only, otherwise her hand gets greasy. "Yes, your hand is greasy" - "the grease is from tongs, you see, I touch the greased tong so my hands are greasy"-loudly and quickly she responded. Everything happens before all other customers and staff and perhaps the owner/manager as well. What a service!
Reply to the owner's reply: yes you did. But when did she start apologising multiple times? After I complained although all of you know that's your error. How did you apologise? Loudly and defensively although I was talking privately at first. Maybe that's the way your business runs, but it's too awful for a service in my opinion. If she was politely I did not get angrier. If you were there you should have seen how rude she was. And all your people don't wear mask while customers do, is it violating current...
Read moreWe recently moved to the area and I am so happy to have this as our new local, this is seriously one of the best fish and chips shops I've ever tried! The chips are obviously hand cut in store, they are deliciously crunchy and fresh, proper old school style. The fish and seafood is really fresh and tasty, but it's not just fish! We recently had a craving for burgers and instead of going to one of the many burger places in the area, we decided to come to this fish and chips shop and ended up with some of the best burgers we've ever had and a huge serving of crunchy hand cut chips for a fraction of what we would have been paying elsewhere. Do yourself a favour and go here, the food is delicious and always served quick, fresh and with a smile!
Based on some other comments, I just want to say: if you make the decision to go to a fish and chips shop next to the beach on a Saturday evening in the middle of summer when Port Noarlunga is heaving with hundreds of people, then you can expect to wait for your freshly cooked food - that is really just common sense... To the owners, please ignore comments from people who don't seem to realise this - you're doing an amazing job.
Keep up the good work, looking forward to...
