Friday off work. Caveman awake. Caveman belly rumble. Deep inside belly, the worm stirs. This not normal worm. This is ancient worm. Wise worm. Hungry worm. The worm has one mission: find great feast. Caveman and worm join forces.
We arrive at Enjoy Inn in Adelaide. Instincts sharp. Eyes scanning like hunter in new land. Friendly tribe greet us. Caveman grunts. Worm thrashes with excitement. Food smell in air. Worm whispers in belly: âThis is the place.â
First kill: chicken and sweet corn soup. Warm. Golden. Like drinking sunshine if sunshine was made of happiness and chicken. Caveman sip. Caveman sigh. Worm do dance inside, coiling in delight. âMore,â worm demands.
Second: special fried rice. Piled high like mountain of treasure. Peas, egg, little bits of joy hidden in every bite. Caveman shovel. Worm chant: âYes. YES. This is the way.â
Third: beef satay. Tender. Coated in thick sauce that tastes like victory after long battle. Caveman grunt loud enough to turn heads. Worm growl in good way. The worm is pleased.
Final boss: crispy chicken and prawn dish. Caveman donât know name. Caveman donât need name. Caveman bite. CRUNCH. Worm roar like beast in the deep. If food could earn worship, this dish is god tier.
The tribe here? Strong. Friendly. Fast. They bring food quick, no judgement for caveman staring at menu like itâs cave wall paintings.
Caveman leave full. Worm full too. Worm now sleeps, dreaming of return. Caveman feel⌠evolved.
â 5/5 â Caveman and Worm declare Enjoy Inn one of the best sacred feeding grounds in Adelaide. We will be back. Looking for...
Read moreWow, what an amazing experience! From start to finish, everything about this visit to Enjoy Inn was outstanding. The food was absolutely spectacular, flavorful, fresh, and perfectly prepared. Each dish was a delight, and itâs clear that a lot of thought and care goes into the menu. I was genuinely impressed with the quality and presentation.
But what really made this experience stand out was the service. I was fortunate enough to be served by a young woman named Kaitlyn, and I have to say, I was blown away by her professionalism. At just 15 years old, she was more knowledgeable and attentive than many servers I've encountered in far more established restaurants. She greeted us with a warm smile, was incredibly friendly, and offered great recommendations that elevated our meal. Her ability to describe the menu and suggest dishes based on our preferences was truly impressive.
What really stood out, though, was her kindness and genuine care for making our experience as great as possible. It's not every day you come across someone so dedicated to their work, especially at such a young age. Kaitlyn is a true asset to the restaurant, and I honestly believe she deserves a raise for her exceptional service and work ethic. Enjoy Inn is lucky to have her on their team, and I can't...
Read moreWe were recommended Enjoy Inn by a friend in Adelaide who works at our favourite Vietnamese restaurant here. The food was cooked well and very tasty, for me the flavours were slightly different to what I know as traditional Cantonese style, but still very nice. The atmosphere is somewhere between formal and casual, so a great place as your regular local or for a big family get together. Spoke to the owner at the end of the night and he recommended we try the duck (roast or Peking), quails, and the stir fried crocodile. These were there signature dishes. We'll definitely be back to try a couple of these out, it's really hard to find a good...
