Another my favourite restaurant in the East! I love Indian food, and often drive 30~40 mins to get my favourite curry and naan, but I think I don't need to do so anymore. The first thing I check when I eat at an Indian restaurant is the quality of Naan and rice. There are plenty of Indian restaurants offering good and delicious curry, but not many for Naan and rice. You perhaps don't want to eat curry with sourdough or pita bread. Therefore, the main thing to judge a good Indian restaurant to me is the quality of Naan and Rice. I was very satisfied with their Naan, Saffron Rice and Roti. Naan was fluffy and in good flavour, also Saffron Rice was good too. Wholemeal Roti was another good example. All of them were harmonious with nice curry. I had Butter Chicken and Beef Vindaloo and liked both. Butter Chicken was not too sweet and I loved it. Nowadays, some Indian restaurants make Butter Chicken too sweet to cover their poor quality of handlin spices. Beef Vindaloo was deliciously hot and spicy, just spot on. Another star on the menu was Paneer Shashlik with its smokeyness and yummy paneer cheese. Staff were very freindly and prompt to serve us for whatever we need. I would highly recommend this place to anyone who loves Indian food.

If you're looking for authentic Indian cuisine and this is the place you should try on your list. Indian Club SA brings you an exquisite culinary experience and they cater a variety of taste buds from mildly spice to balanced authentic indian food. This is a perfect place for those who have low Tolerance of heat spice. if you're vegetarian as well they do have variety of options to caterer to you. When you're heading down and looking for a carpark it will be behind the building or otherwise find a side St if available. They have amazing cheese naan bread and it is definitely real cheesy, even their garlic naan bread is the best too. Curry butter chicken was good has a smoky flavour to it and that's something different. All the food here is delicious you have to try it for yourself. Came here for the media launch and the atmosphere was so great. Thanks to Head Chef Bishnu did amazing job with all the delicious meal and i was satisfied at the end. Also to Anu manager who make sure everyone is well look after and make everyone happy. Also thanks to Adelaide Food Central did amazing job for organising the event for the Media Launch. Personally in my opinion i would recommend this place and i do wanna try more other dishes too.

I wanted to extend my sincere gratitude for the exceptional service and experience you provided during my baby's first birthday celebration at your restaurant. We had initially booked for 60 guests, but due to unforeseen circumstances, 90 guests attended. Your team handled the situation with utmost professionalism and efficiency, ensuring everyone was comfortably accommodated and well-served. The seamless management of the event truly impressed us. Moreover, the food was outstanding, the ambiance was perfect for our occasion, and the customer service was top-notch. Our guests were delighted with every aspect of their experience, and many commented on how enjoyable the evening was. I am genuinely grateful for your team's efforts in making this milestone celebration so memorable for us. Your dedication to excellence is truly commendable, and I will certainly recommend your restaurant to friends and family without hesitation. Thank you once again for exceeding our expectations. We look forward to dining with you again soon.

Nestled in the heart of South Australia at Magill in Campbelltown City Council area, Indian Club SA Restaurant stands as a beacon of culinary excellence, offering a dining experience that tantalizes the senses and warms the soul. From the moment you step through the door, you are greeted with an atmosphere that envelops you in warmth and tranquility. The soothing decor, combined with soft lighting, creates a haven where you can unwind and immerse yourself in the rich tapestry of Indian culture.

The food at Indian Club SA is nothing short of spectacular. Each dish is a testament to the heritage and passion of the cuisine. The menu, rich with traditional Indian fare, showcases an array of flavors and aromas that are expertly crafted to perfection. The vibrant colors and spices used in each dish are not just visually appealing but also transport you to the bustling streets of India with every bite.

The starters are a delightful prelude to the main event. Whether it's the crispy samosas or hara bhara kebabs, each item bursts with freshness and flavor, expertly prepared to tantalize your taste buds. The mains are where Indian Club SA truly shines. The paneer butter masala, with its creamy tomato sauce, is a crowd favorite, perfectly balanced with a hint of spice. The curries are rich and hearty option, slow-cooked to perfection and infused with a myriad of spices that dance on the palate. Other Vegetarian options are equally impressive, with dishes like paneer tikka masala and dal makhani capturing the essence of Indian cooking.

What truly sets Indian Club SA apart is the exceptional service. The staff is attentive, friendly, and genuinely committed to making your dining experience unforgettable. From the moment you are seated, you feel like a valued guest, with team members eager to recommend favorite dishes or accommodate any special requests. The owners, who are just as hands-on as their staff, frequently engage with guests, adding a personal touch that enhances the dining experience. The chef, a talented and passionate individual, often steps out to greet diners, sharing insights about the dishes and ensuring that every customer leaves happy.

The atmosphere is further complemented by soft Indian music playing in the background, enhancing the authentic experience without being intrusive. Whether you're celebrating a special occasion or enjoying a casual meal with friends, Indian Club SA allows you to savor every moment in a calm and soothing environment.

It's no surprise that Indian Club SA has earned the title of Best Indian Restaurant in South Australia. Their dedication to quality, service, and customer satisfaction is evident in every aspect of the dining experience. It's a place where culinary artistry meets heartfelt hospitality, making it a must-visit for anyone seeking a true taste of India.

In conclusion, Indian Club SA Restaurant is more than just a restaurant; it's a delightful journey through the flavors and culture of India. With top-notch food, unparalleled service, and a serene atmosphere, it is a dining experience you won’t soon forget. I highly recommend visiting this hidden gem; once you try it, you’ll understand why it has garnered such acclaim. Make sure to book a table because this is one culinary adventure you won't...

Ah, maybe it's just my stellar luck that I end up being let down whenever I walk into a restaurant with sky-high expectations. I mean, a 4.9-star rating, right? You'd think you were in for something amazing, but instead, I found myself sliding downhill faster than a grease fire.

Let's dive in, starting with the starters.

Amritsari Fish – It was almost like the chef was going for that 'freshly-caught-off-a-fishnet' vibe. If I wanted to feel like I was chewing on river water while sitting on the bank, I’d have gone fishing myself.

Chicken Tikka – Now, I’ve had chicken tikka in every other place in Adelaide and cooked it at home countless times. So, imagine my shock when I was handed four unremarkable, overpriced pieces of mediocrity. Extraordinary? No. Extra pricey? Absolutely.

Papdi Chaat / Hara Bhara Kebab – I'll give the chef a break here. It's really my fault for ordering the right dish in the wrong place.

I understand paying for ambiance and presentation – I really do. But for once, I'd love if my money also brought me some actual taste and quality n bit of value. Instead, I found myself with a pit in my stomach, not from the food, but from the sheer regret of spending my hard-earned cash. God forbid me for speaking ill about food, infact ishould be grateful to be lucky enough to have food but I am extermely disgusted with myself for tonight.

Now, on to the main course:

Lamb Shank / Lamb Korma – Where do I even start? We couldn’t take more than a single bite. It’s like the fish all over again: they missed the memo about how cooking involves removing the smell and actually making it edible. Sure, they nailed the part about ‘eating with your eyes,’ and the nose? Yeah, that too – unfortunately. At that point, I was satisfied just smelling the disappointment.

Chicken Tikka Masala / Kadhai – Finally, something decent. The Kadhai was actually good – the lone hero in tonight's saga of sadness. But the Chicken Tikka Masala? It was just the same old starter drowning in some gravy to disguise itself as a 'different' dish.

Chicken Biryani – Yet another case of ordering the right dish in the wrong restaurant. Look, I love rice so much I’d probably eat stones if they were served with it, but even I couldn’t muster the will to touch this one. It sat there, untouched, just like my hopes and dreams for this dinner.

My housemates were eagerly awaiting this meal – we even skipped lunch to make space, you know, like real foodies do. But in the end, we had to stop at a food truck on the way home to fill up. That says a lot about our level of disappointment.

No offense to the restaurant – they’ve clearly worked hard for that glowing rating and have a staff that’s polite and courteous. But I won’t be back for seconds, and I wouldn’t dream of recommending it to anyone I actually care about. Its already like mission impossible to get everybody on dinner table, together once a week or fortnight but such experiences put cherry on top for staying apart for dinners.

Next time, I’ll stick to cooking at home - I mean what happened to your taste buds people? One star is still going up there. Thats oonnlyyy for the ambiance...

The food is decent here but the staff’s refusal to feign even the slightest trace of warmth or courtesy was something that I shall remember for a very long time. This establishment has no interest in creating lasting relationships with it’s customers it is just all about the money.Truly sad and disappointing and this is coming from a loyal customer of years.

Also, just to be clear it was never about the price as we ended up spending more money with the other restaurant that we ended up choosing for the celebration but we did so willingly and gladly due to the excellent recommendations carefully tailored to suit our needs and also because we feel the price was justified and was excellent value for money. They actually took the time to listen to us and genuinely cared about creating beautiful memories on a very important and emotional day in our lives. We weren’t just treated like a number ,dismissed and ignored like Indian Club and all that after we had given glowing recommendations to these guys and sent multiple friends to dine with them over the years. So yes, definitely not about the money but the horrid experience dealing with the chef’s wife and co-owner.

Another disappointing aspect was their insistence on booking for 60 people minimum even though when we had initially confirmed with them over the call that we had 50 guests and needed the main hall and they had agreed upon the same and later went back on their words.I found that very unethical but still agreed and put in the initial booking deposit. Now i do understand and respect the fact that your requirement for the main hall is 60 guests due to your business requirements which is why we agreed and still went ahead with the booking ,i just find it disheartening that the same was not communicated over the phone call we had prior to coming in ,had we been advised we would have a clearer picture and may have looked at other options as well.I don’t know what led to that misunderstanding as we were led to believe that it’s fine to go ahead with 50 guests in the main hall.

The part that particularly disturbed me was when asked if our guests wanted to pack and take some food from the party for kids they flatly refused and said all the unused food would be thrown away instead! So we book for 60 people with 50 guests and the extra food cannot be taken or donated but has to be thrown away. That was just wrong on so many levels and morally i could not bring myself to allow such morbid wastage on my daughter’s birthday. They had no solid logic or reasoning behind this and the other restaurant willingly agreed to not only charge us based on the number of guests but also allow guests to pack and take some food home for kids and the elderly.

My humble suggestion - please work on your people skills as we are humans with emotions and not just numbers or money...
